From ergonomic side, the really stupid decision from Canon was to put the audio controls on the wrong side. You can't use the dials when you're using the camera handheld documentary style. The media slots and audio controls should be switched.
On the other hand, its pretty much set and forget for a one man show. If you need more precision, you'd have a dedicated audio guy. Not that I have anything against improved ergonomics. I'm a lefty.
young man, are you sure you want to have the sensor exposed upwards while you are talking and constantly throwing your spit into it? you can actually see spit droplets on the sensor at 2:01
Come on Canon really? A USB mini plug in a state-of-the-art camera? All manufacturers should be adopting USB C (regardless or protocol) at this point. Move forward, not backwards. Also, its not just necessary to know the available ports, but their throughput as well. HDMI is up to version 4. Additionally, you gave us the Cfast card speeds but what speed can the SD card slot handle? Will it support the faster current generation of SD cards? When you use the camera in a business, time is money, and the ports should be as fast (if not faster) as the fastest cards currently available. Otherwise, what's the point of card manufacturers making faster cards if there's no devices that support them? Other than that, thanks for the walk-around.
Thanks for the valuable information! 🙏🏾
The system expansion terminal is for adding wifi (WFT-E9) like on the 1D X III
Right on!
Thanks!
i bought one - a great upgrade from the 1dx mk ii
The SDI has a clean output option? IE - no details overlay?
Thanks!
I want one
System expansion is for wireless adaptor
nice and detailed review...
Glad you liked it
Pls review on c700.
Really? People already claim that this camera cost more than their car. Besides, that's a full-fledged cinema camera. You'd need a crew to support it.
Thanks man 👍🏻
Does this camera take photographies???

Yes

Usb mini, not micro.
@@BitsOfBoris Obsolete either way. I want to forever end the hunt for the right USB cord. Especially on a brand new device. USB C please.

I agree.
