    These look so neat and pretty! As much as I love the aesthetic of knotless box braids, nothing really tops the traditional box braids! Especially since I have kinkier hair AND I live in a humid/hot place. Traditional box braids tend to last longer for me

    It’s bringing back the memories of sitting in front of the tv getting box braids done by a family friend. 😊

    Thanks for explaining about the third leg and adding the hair to your hair as you go to make it even. Many people don't explain adding hair.
    Beautiful job!

    So glad i saw it. Been doing the 2 strand method for 4yr on myself and was made to feel it was for amateurs. Gives me confidence to braid someones hair

      Far from amateur…. It actually takes great technique to accomplish the 2 strand method…. Definitely do it on others and see..Do your thing babe

    Very nice, i just recently started braiding my own hair. After wearing braids for over 30yrs. Finally decided to save money and do my own. Must try this, i tried the rubber band and latch method, but i seen a few bands showing. Im go try this method. Thanks a lot.

    It’s always the parting for me! I learned how to braid using the two strands and your hair as the third strand. I just didn’t learn how to brick layer correctly!

      I don’t play about parting 😩😩😩😂😂😂…..as far as layering think of windows….

    I like traditional b/c it looks full, it’s quicker to do. Knotless to me make it look thin

    I start my braids like this too and sometimes when I braid down the braid gets lumpy I guess bc I’m adding the braiding hair to the natural strand all at once instead of gradually..great vid ty

    • @TouchedByTiny
      @TouchedByTiny  2 года назад +5

      Yes. You have to gradually add the hair…. The 2 strand method looks better at the roots but if you don’t figure out the method to evenly distribute the hair it will create a weird lump the further you braid down 😩😩 so take small pieces of hair from each strand as you go down
