A comment in part one mentioned the potential domino effect it could cause on the whole series, so I decided to take the liberty and continue this scenario into the other seasons! First, BFDIA 1-5e

Some part 3 ideas:
Puffball not competing in Bfdia obviously changes things. Because she doesn't have a relationship with Fries, she and Naily join Team Ice Cube instead because Puffball helped with Gelatin's fork stack.
Pen joins Eraser with Free Food because ABNTT is full.
Donut's bad first impressions from BFDIA forces him onto Death PACT (making him the last contestant to be chosen.)
Nothing changes for David.

I'll assume that neither team loses a member and Marshmallow is considered eliminated. Nothing changes about how the teams perform until Ep6 where Cherries will be eliminated instead of Yin-Yang. It might be cool to have both Marshy and Bow as the ghosts that scare everyone and they show themselves to Apple. I don't see anyone being possessed into looking bad to the viewers. Bow has Marshy around and she'll prevent Bow from making screwing Apple's game. (unless by some chance Marshmallow believes that Apple faked the truce and sent her to Mars to die with that boulder)

The thing is: IIRC Mephone already had the ability to recover contestants back then. Even if some excuse was made, I think the more interesting option would be: what if Marshmellow never got sent to Mars in the first place.
