Boozhoo/hello . Thank you for keeping it simple and teaching. I have tried to ask other beaders to help teach me but never want to teach and I don't have anyone to help me but thank you. I am excited to make my first laynard
Thank you for sharing such a well explained beading tutorial! I have been wanting to learn beading for years, and this tutorial really gave me the confidence to start! This is so well explained, I feel like I understand exactly what I'm supposed to do with lanyards (the thing I wanted to learn most). Such a well done video! I can't wait to watch more and learn from you. Again, thank you!
Wanda Richardson, you are not the only one, in my bead wrapping I have gaps. Unwind try again, unwind try again. Not getting it tight enough, my needle comes off. It looks easy the way she does it. Fingers are uncoordinated, hard to wrap and twist the cord at the same time and keep the beads tight in a row. . Think I’ll focus on technique and not try to make anything until I have practiced. Holy cow.
Beading is not for everyone. It runs in my family. Passamaquoddy footsteps and in my mother’s footsteps on Facebook. It’s not my work but it’s my grandmothers and moms. I’ve been beading since I was 5
Thank you for this video! Because of this video I stopped spending money on beaded wristlets and laynards, two days ago I made my first wristlet with no problem because of this video! I'm so happy with the outcome, yesterday I made my first laynard, it took 5 hours in one sitting, my wristlets I made took 2 and a half to 3 hours my first try. How long does it take you to make a wristlet/lanyard? Does it ever get easier time wise lol. Thank you! I've already sold 2 :)
Thank you for making this video, I've always wondered how this technique was done, and I would love to try it. Can you tell me where is the best place to get the paracord? Are there different sizes you can use? I'm very excited about this. I'll be looking for the next video.
Any tips on how to keep it tight? I feel like im not doing a good job at wrapping it and then the beads just fall down the string and loosen up again..
Where do you buy your beads? I bought some from Amazon, Micheal’s and local store all these places the beads are uneven and stuck together. Also I bought size 11/0 glass seed beads and all my beads are spaced out and you can see the cord underneath.
I realize this is a an old vlog. However I just found you through tik tok. My question is if you want it to look zigzag, is there a vlog on that, or is it possible, if so what would the count of beads be? My tribe (Chickasaw) gives tutorials on beading, I'm definitely going to start taking them, also basket weaving. Thank you!
I am wanting to make a few of these for teachers at my school. Approximately how many size 11 beads do I need for one keychain? I am going bead shopping tonight.
I was fascinated watching how to do this and I had to watch literally 4 times and realized I didn’t know how long of thread there was that needed to be cut smh so again had big tangle of knot trying to wrap I’ll give it another shot later
Hi! Thank you for sharing! I understand when you need to put the end through the last bead but I’m still unsure of where to put the needle under before putting it through the last beas
Wonderful teaching, but I see, this kind of neddle, we don't have here in Brasil. Can you tell the name if the fabrication of it, and I'll try to find it in google
What type of rope are you guys using for your beaded wrap rope projects. I’ve used cotton and a different type of rope. I’m just searching for suggestions on a type that lasts

Thank you!! I cannot wait to start one, this will be a first and your tutorial was easy to follow along! 🥰
So beautiful 😍
I tried to do that but i have a thin paracord and i had a ton of gaps...u make it look so easy :)
Any tips on how to keep it tight? I feel like im not doing a good job at wrapping it and then the beads just fall down the string and loosen up again..
Maybe do less beads 🤔 like 25 instead of 50. I haven't made one yet but I was thinking of just trying with that instead for the tightness reason.
Many thanks for teaching us. Beautiful work and easy to understand. Getting started immediately!!☺👍

Question but is there by any chance a faster way of getting done?
Is your needle threaded normally with the two ends tied together?
I only tie knots on the end of a single strand but not together
BeadsByCheyDesigns thank you! 😊💖
Wonderful teaching, but I see, this kind of neddle, we don't have here in Brasil. Can you tell the name if the fabrication of it, and I'll try to find it in google
