Look out, y'all! With Zheng out of the tourney, Shnaider's fortunes just increased in her quest for this title. If she keeps playing like this, she is capable of beating ANYONE, including Saba, Coco, Jasmine, Iga or Elena. She has always had the demonstrated power, but now looks more disciplined and accurate in all phases. And appears healthy, most of all. So nice to see Ajla playing well! She is a lovely lady, one of the game's tall beauties (her posture is exquisite!). ;o) And a really classy person who has overcome injury. Her game looks solid after facing two highly regarded, big-slamming youngsters in Krueger and Shnaider. Looking forward to seeing her play more!
So true...especially a fresh Diana (which is rare since she's typically overplaying). Stars may align here but she'll need more matches to hit top form. There lies the danger as she's certainly not at her best yet. Diana & Osaka are very dangerous in this tournament.
Maybe, but beating Ajla not easily...You are stretching it a little.
Good job, Diana. Keep it that way.
Both players are creative ball strikers, but Shnaider is more explosive and aggressive. Beautiful rallies with so much variety 😊
Прикольный наряд "красная шапочка" 😂
she's starting to grow on me. Congrats!
Yay, the babushka head scarf is back!
And ajla w the hotdog on a stick uniform 🤣
@@michelleschweizer9000😂 I was thinking of hot dogs, my damn self lol
@@michelleschweizer9000 haha good one
Russians tennis players are unbeatable 🎾
These two quite likeable. Shnaider more the heavy hitter, but Tomljanovic, hit deep and down the middle, match up pretty well. Ajla chase down a lot of ball, but she on the 'slower' side of spectrum. Optical illusion or something. I been waiting see how Shnaider do, go deeper into big tournament.
Shnaider 😍
Diana is good at T-ball tennis... she just tee's off on her ground strokes.
didn't expect Ajla to get past her. drag but oh well.
Ajla, The Bench Warmer 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Congrats, Diana.
Русские, вперед!
Rudely partial crowd! In their face!
Time for Tomljanovic to retire. She’s not a very intelligent player and doesn’t have much touch on her shots.
And she is a choker poor thing
Au contraire. She has looked very competitive so far after battling injuries in recent years. She turns 32 in May, so time is not with her, but she still may have a couple of good seasons left.
@ Well she’s ranked 114 and only gets into 1 slam if the A.O. gives her a wild card. Also as a veteran she doesn’t appear to have a high tennis IQ.
@@sportsmediaamerica Dude, she's almost 32 years old and has 0 career titles. She's a journeywoman.
