Hello 👋😊 I really enjoyed watching you create, sketch and paint with your inks. I’m really enjoying your videos and I’m sure your channel will grow. Keep creating your beautiful art, we are all here watching and sending good vibes your way 💛🎨🖌🌏💫
I think you filming yourself working on a new story sounds great. I’d love to see how it comes together! And I adore your flower characters, it’s such a fab idea ❤️
Love watching you create new illustrations. This one is a real gem. I wish you a lot of luck 🍀 but also a lot of strength and perseverance in your creative journey.
Hey Kriksis! I love all ur videos and I think ur an fantastic artist. I would find it very interesting to follow ur development of stories. Til next time!
I'd love to spend more time watching you develop your ideas for a new book. That's such a great idea, and it would make planning the videos much simpler. As for the emails, just do it! If you're nervous you could ask a friend for feedback? 😊
Love your videos! Allergies are the worst. I don’t have hay fever but I am covered in poison ivy and it’s just miserable. Also- I relate to a lot of this, and I admire you for pushing through those fears! Your artwork and your channel both feel so warm, comforting and genuine. And that’s what kids love! Honestly I would have adored these characters and colors as a kid because they’re so comforting
Its a miracle, how you create such a lovely flower-girl out of nothing. You are a brilliant artist and illustrator and you will make your way. All your characters are so "heart-warming" and make me smile deep in my body. Please go on with this. Make your books (and let us participate please) and write your E-Mails. Your English is totally O.K. and you can express everything very clear. Online teaching is a good idea to earn money and I am sure I would book every course.....but isn't that very "time consuming" too? Anyway - you will decide, what's best for you.
How wonderful that you will be taking us along with the creative process of making a book!! 💕. I think we are all guilty of procrastination and I'm one of the worst offenders. I try to remember that saying which goes 'nothing ventured, nothing gained'. Your work is just so lovely xx
8:19 That's because those Pigeons like your videos and content... they know what's good for them! I'm listening to you share while I clean up my Art area and you're just an amazing person ... Just thought I'd let you know!
Hi Kriksis, this video was so lovely, so peaceful. And love the camera angles from outside. Very cozy, I feel you about your hesitation/feeling down about moving forward with what you know that needs to be done. I just remembered your previous video June 26 2021 about English testing and how you were so determined to pass so you can go to Manchester. I love hearing that fire and passion you have in that video. Find that spark again. We know you can! Would love to see more idea/progress for your new books. There are too many art haul videos out there on RUclips, I feel it’s too much, and money is too short nowadays for a lot of people in theses times. Let’s use the supplies now! Plus, that way you’re progressing in your career and making videos at the same time. Wishing you the best, and that hay fever isn’t so bad anymore. Cheers!
What a lovely use of the inks. Your studio looks so cozy 🥰 I think you should go for it and send the emails, what is the worst that will happen? Everyone says yes and you have to turn someone down? 😩 I can’t wait to see the book! Following the creative book publishing process would be awesome 😎
So beautiful! The vlog, the shots through the window & the countryside, the end result! So peaceful! What about creating your own course about creating a character & putting it on teachable or something like that? Love your style! & your inks!
It would be amazing to watch the process of you creating a new book! It's something I've always dreamed of doing. It's so much fun watching you create characters and settings for them.
I love watching your process with these beautiful characters for your book. It has helped me with some ideas of my own. Do you also write the story too that goes along with your illustrations? 🎨
Hello Kristiana ! Thank you very much for your video. I hope that you will have a lot of success with your books. With best wishes from Berlin ! Sabine
Hi Kriksis, I haven't watched your video's for a long time yet...but I just wanted to say hi and that I really enjoy the colour pallet you use in your art. It is such a warm and cozy vibe. I also wanted to say...I also LOVE watching Morgan Long's video's! Looking forward to discovering more of your art and I hope you decided on making more video's about your story book! Keep well! Irene from South Africa.
That is the cutest little picture. I think you must keep your chin up! Your art is so special. I think with your style of art a book would be such a good idea. Just a few words and your adorable pictures. A book about "flower girls" maybe with the meaning of the flower as the only words. Hope this is making sense. I hope you will hang in there. PS I am the one who asked about the tote with the bird stamped on it. You had mentioned possibly the bird was too small for the tote. If you are willing, how about stamping the bird four times in a block? My plan would be to applique their bodies in different fabrics. Maybe I could try and make a drawing and email it to you?
Hello Ann! thank you for sharing your ideas! Really lovely suggestions indeed! ALSO I do remember you mentioned tote bag with robin birds. Can you send me an e-mail about them - artkristiana@gmail.com and share how did you wanted them to be printed? Is those 4 Linoprints next to each other? I can print them for you and make a listing for you. :) Kind Regards, Kriksis
Hi dear Kriksis. I think that you are right to want to contact publishers. You are made to do this profession! Go for it!:-)I know that you need to have an income and also, it can be a little scary or discouraging when thinking of being rejected, but how many famous talented artists have experienced this situation? So many. Also I totally understand how difficult is to write in a language that is not yrs because like you, English is not my first language. But, I ask for help around me when I am not sure. You should see how long it takes me sometime just to write a comment:-) However, yr English is VERY good & yr AMAZING work will speak for you too. So don't worry about it:) If you have to take another job, my best advice, if I may, is to keep doing things related to yr passion. You have so much to share. You can give Linoprints classes, teach how to make stickers, or how to use all the mediums that you use yourself etc... Maybe there is an artist group you could join & share a space to teach. I know that it's easy to say:) Kriksis, you are an amazing, unique artist!
Just a thought, I hope you don't mind: you have a very unique art style and a lot to tell and share. Why not reach out to Morgan Long or another person who's videos you like and ask about some tipps about RUclips instead of working in a different job? Maybe there could be a "we pay each other" in sharing knowledge about the art of making videos and the art of doing illustrations instead of money? How to grow a community and how to create and sell illustrated artwork? What an empowering thought :) I would love seeing you create a book and would happily follow along in vlogs!
Such a lovely, calming vlog! It'll all be ok in the end, try not to worry (easier said than done, I know) and just keep going. :) x
thank you so much Natasha for your lovely comment! True enough!
