One of the difficult skills on a steel guitar; is to make "harmonics" sound the SAME level on the 12th, 7th and 5th fret. It is pretty easy on the 12th fret. The 7th fret is harder. But that danged 5th fret can drive one crazy; even getting it to come out; let alone the same level as at the 12th fret. NOT with Doug. For He EASILY makes that 5th fret harmonic just as loud as the 12th fret. Of course he does the SAME thing with the 7th fret. Unbelievable. WOW! Bless his heart. He is a "gem" from Heaven as I walk on this planet. May Jesus continue to "gift" this man with talents from Heaven.
