For those wondering:
In Igbo, "za" means "answer". "Nzaza" is like a corrupt form of the igbo word "za". "Oluwa" means "God" in Yoruba. So, when Askake says "Oluwa Nzaza", he's basically saying "God answer."
Even with the language barrier, I feel Asake’s music spiritually. Wow what a gift to us.
Me too. I dont understsnd Yoruba but i understand his SPIRIT. I am in Love with ASAKE.
@@lolaispure4296 que c’est ça moi tu veux pas me mettre
That's true!! He's got an authentic vibe, plus he picks his beats very wisely.

I love this song … I’m Kenyan🇰🇪 but I understand some..Pain and love is a universal language.. felt this In my soul. The whole album is full of African pride . Wish him more success 🔥🔥🇰🇪🫶🏾

What makes Asake special is his unique choir effect.
NO DOUBT ABOUT IT...VERY UNIQUE, 😍🎵🎼💃💃💃
I call it "Crowd Format"....Choirs rely on harmony,he doesn't
True. And the violin. Like what modern artist thinks to use violin??? Asake does!!!
Definitely. He is unique
Well said
I love Asake too much ❤️I started learning Yoruba even though I'm not a Nigerian because of him ,Naira Marley,Wizkid ,Olamide and other artists who use the language In their songs❤️❤️
All of them use the Yoruba langue kiss Daniel burna boy Davido rema ruga zazu fireboy dml e.t.c the reason is that the founder of Afro beat Fela kuti use Yoruba and pigin in English plus Afro beat headquarter Lagos Nigeria is Yoruba town major language there is Yoruba …. There other language in Nigeria too
Omg I love all of them plus zino
@@olubusayo297you forgot to mention they are also Yoruba so of course they would sing in Yoruba. Yoruba dominates Nigerian music.
When we were young we had to learn lingala because of koffi olomide now we're learning yoruba because of Asake
Congratulations Nigeria as a whole
This song touches my soul automatically makes you relax and forget about your problems
Yea, I know, Ada. Just listening to relax my mind after a disappointing betrayal and heartbreak.
@@gn18 hahahahaah🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The song is admonishing people not to look down on their humble beginnings. Literally, he is saying
Do not look there (Ma wo 'be).
Today, you are small (Oni o kere),
Tell him "Do not look there" (So fun 'ma wo 'be'),
Do not look at what others have/are doing (Ma wo t'eni kankan).
Even from far away Australia,I still make sure I am deeply connected to your sounds. I can't afford not to appreciate good music especially when it keeps me reminded of home.
Our music revolution will certainly break the barriers for us as Nigerians especially with lots of negativities that a few has continually dented our image with.
Peace!
Wow
Asake is truly unique and exceptional! He fuses a number of music elements from different genres so well...his choruses hit different ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Hey
If you are here in 2090, I was here 8/9/2022.
Asake was a young talented musian signed under the YBNL records of the well celebrated Olamide .
He took the Nigerian music stage by storm and was unstoppable , we loved his music .
In 2022, Nigerian music was making the world to dance and we Nigerians were proud of it as our entertainment industry was the only thing making us to still hold strong as Nigerians .
Hope life is treating you well . Stay strong , be a nice human .

Even though we’re rejected everywhere all over the world, our music still makes us stand out cos its accepted by the same people that reject us.
I’m proud to be Nigerian and proud to be African regardless.
There is something unique about this song. This might be the best African song ever!

The lyrics on this song is soo powerful. This guy is truly an inspiration. He was sooo ready for this success.. He placed his focus on his hustle and drowned the outside noise coming from all his haters. The ultimate key to success is intentional focus & mental discipline.
Please break them down for us
This so spiritual even though am not a Nigerian I can feel it deeply inside ❤❤❤❤❤❤
