  • In this inaugural voyage of The Perry Pod, we take a look at the first aired episode of Perry Mason, TCOT Restless Redhead.
We review the plot of the episode and the novel it was adapted from.
We drop some trivia knowledge and then discuss the episode's main theme: commitment (or lack thereof).
We end with a Perry proverb.
Keep on walking that Fifth Avenue Beat!

Actually, Barbara was 35 at the time of this first outing in 1957 (born Apr. 18, 1922).

I still watch the shows from the late 50’s and the 60’s.

Just discovered this youtube channel! It's like a Christmas present for me since I love anything vintage Perry Mason & I'm not that familiar with the novels except those made into films in the 30s. I love that Perry Mason comes on all day on the various channel in my cable package especially since I now get the Justice Central Channel. When I add up the total number of episodes daily on these channels: Justice Central, MEtv, FEtv, it's ' now about 12-13 episodes a day. On days when it also airs on Great American Family Channel the count goes up to 27 episodes a day. I can't get enough of this show no matter how many times I watch it! Subscribed!
