I just got this keyboard for $170 with the BF coupon code. I had no idea it was retailing for $230! That's WAY too expensive. Maybe there is a quality control issue here, but I don't have any of the problems like in this review. The print looks perfect and it wobbles slightly, but only if you force it. My stabs have no rattle either, actually sounds perfect for a factory lubed keyboard. The only thing I do agree with is the mirror finish in the back will leave finger prints. But it's a god thing it sits flat on a desk 99.9% of the time! lol The sound is perfect. Not too loud, but has enough clack to satisfy me. The switches would sound more thoccy if we were able to lube them, but I absolutely don't mind the creamy clacky sound either. The people who are hating on this, are not the target audience. There's so many similar keyboards out there and this one caters to a very specific audience. I don't care for the RGB or that it's not hot swappable. There are lots of transparent keyboard options out there with RGB, but don't have half the bells and whistles of this keyboard. The whole point and concept of this aesthetic is that it's supposed to look ICY. It looks perfect with just the nice clean WHITE lighting. Now, having RGB + white lighting, yes, that would be even better, but I would never use RGB on this keyboard because it doesn't fit the aesthetic of the keyboard overall. Every keyboard I see out there is now hot swappable. Even the $50 cheap ones. Doesn't make it less worth it just because it's not. The Kaihl Jellyfish switches makes sense because it's completely clear. I understand people want to at least modify the board, but again, not the target audience. Modifying is time consuming and not a hobby to me. I wanted one that fit my desk aesthetic (clean, minimal, slightly Y2K inspired) and the 1% keyboard is PERFECT. I got a custom coiled cable that's also transparent white, so it matches. I freaking love this keyboard. $230 is a bit much but if you can get a coupon or discount for it under $200 I think it's definitely worth it if it's your style.
thanks for the fairly honest and well made review, though for this money you can get a qk65 or something similar and get a whole lot more if you are an enthusiast
I'm currently using the CoolKiller CK75 but I am not a big fan of RGB and was looking for a similar keyboard that is more portable with a brilliant clean white backlight and at this price point Lofree really should have used a mirror finish for the gasket board underneath the keys like CoolKiller did because it looks amazing. It also sucks that it is not hot swappable or moddable, it's such a steep price for a lot of limitations. I am looking at the CoolKiller Balloon 84, what do you think of it?
2:54 I'm sure the plate inside is white and not a mirror finish is because of the led lights. If it were a mirror finish, that would have acted as a flashlight always pointing at your face lol, even on the lowest brightness settings.
Very interesting visually, but that's gonna yellow over time and the hollow keycaps are definitely a strange choice. Too bad about the key print, but just an issue with smooth plastic unfortunately. When you mentioned modding the keycaps, all that I could picture is people adding colored sand and bits of sand all in the case over time lol. Are you gonna cover the Moondrop Dash75? Seen some reviews saying it was pretty darn good right out of the box. Definitely curious about your take on it.
They do not yellow because the keys are made of acrylic, I have the CoolKiller Ck75 which is very similar and my transparent keys are just as new because acrylic is UV resistant so does not yellow.
Man they misguidedly posted an ad for this board on r/mechanicalkeyboards a few month ago, and it got torn to shreds. Definitely not for enthusiasts, and pretty overpriced, but I could see a lot of people buy this for the novelty.
unsolicited opinion: I really dislike this keyboard. I feel this is something that would end up under the subreddit r/ATBGE. Looks more like a decoration than something I'd personally use. I hope that those out there that do you use thoroughly enjoy it though.

really looks like something that would blow up in the late 90s and early 2000s lmao
Yeah, this thing wouldn’t look out of place next to a Power Mac G4 from 2000-ish
There's no excuse it costs $200+. FL Esports Q75 PRO is fully clear too, with good stabs and amazing switches AND ~$100.
$300+ here in singapore with shipping
no giveaway this sunday? :(
Lol same was like “WHERE’S THE GIVEAWAAAAYYY?!!” 😩😩

The transparent background and the printing of the keys TOTALLY reminds me of a Nixie tube clock
Is this one not a giveaway?

A shame that the cable isnt transparent
that keyboard looks SO NICE

Are the sides silver?
are you gonna make a BF video?
hello, i just bought a Redragon k617 fizz but i want to change the keyboard from QWERTY to AZERTY ,some tips for it?
I’m debating.. should I get the Lychee G66 pro or KBD67 Lite R4??
I NEED HELP PLS! Akko 3086B vs Royal Kludge RK84. which one should i choose?
Akko 3068B for sure
depends. u want a 65% super nice stock board, or a 75% super good for modding n having fun to mod board
depends whether u wanna mod the board or not if u do get the rk84 if u dont get the 3068b plus
Ciy gas67 has more value imo
@@Serna. ya
Reminds me of the old gen 1 iPods.

The Keyboard looks super cool! Just a little too expensive for me and my current budget. Plus more modibility is important to me. Great video though!
I feel like if you have like 10 of them you could have enough to use as a light replacement for every room In an average house
What about the giveaway
RGB go crazy bro
Are the royal kludge double-shot pbt keycaps worth it?
I’m skeptical. Their stock caps are terrible. Love their boards but idk if I would trust them for keycaps.
Do you have any recommendation for mechanical keyboard with numpad? That’s is not too big thanks
That looks really nice
I have never owned a keyboard before I wished I owned on
Then its time to buy one :D
good for eye.
review RK H81 pls broo🥲
Good video but a rare miss on the thumbnail for me....intentionally misleading
I wish u noticed me

Wats up hi
One of the best reviews you've done. Very thorough and honest. 🦾
