Okay, I’ve binged watched about 20 videos! It’s almost midnight and I’ve got to get up at 5:00am for work! I can’t stop watching! I’m just blown away at how good you guys are!
@Michael M. Hey MM, sorry for the delay response. "The" was an error because it was extremely late and lost control of my motor skills. Anyway, I agree with your comment I had been LLB-binging for hours and the reason, it's the same as yours. I left the workforce August 31 and enjoying every minute. At least we have LLB Enjoy
Given the fact that Phil Collen said there were (IIRC) SEVEN different guitar tracks on this song, and no one (with the possible exception of Kip Winger) can sound like Joe Elliott, this is a superb cover.
The guy who is singing lead and playing guitar on this track in Mike Vandemark. He is heavily involved in the the production of these pieces. He ain't bad at what he does.
What’s so beautiful about this group is that they add so much value to the originals while they don’t take anything away from the original....we still love the originals even more after we listen to them. Thanks for some very good music, lot of integrity there.
@Michael M. Right you are Michael, they did a masterful job of weaving the chords into the melody of the song, the singing, structure and charm to it especially with the authentic signature back up vocals went a little further.
One of the most beautiful, sensual songs ever recorded in the rock genre from a 25x platinum album and so beautifully performed. Absolutely loved it and could hear it over and over again.
I totally agree, Hysteria is my favorite Lep song and in my opinion is their best written song. And LLB absolutely nailed it! I am no musician but I believe it’s a difficult song to play as it’s so layered.
In this day of top 40 acts sampling and computers are making music....how truly refreshing to see a group of practiced accomplished true musicians excelling in their field....hats off
Simply fantastic! You know that magical moments when you can't stop listening to some music over and over again? Thank you deeply for having brought me such a moment with your excellent cover!
Covering a Lep song from Hysteria, with accuracy... is stupid hard. Because those guys spent, literally, on average, about 6 months per song to record.... yes... 6 months per song.... better or worse, those songs were engineered with extreme prejudice. Personally, i love em.
I only recently discovered this band a few weeks ago and haven't stopped listening yet and have no plans to do so. These people are amazing musicians. They cover every single song as well, if not better than the original artists. And they look like they're having so much fun doing it. It is my sincere hope that with all their talent for classic rock/pop they might create some new music in the genre and re-birth great new music again. LLB, you are amazing!
Just watched the 10 year (Parts 1-4) and listened to some of my LLB favorites. I cannot wait to see you live in September. I know for myself and the 5 who will be with me, time will stand still that day. Your technical skills and detail really do earn your Lexington "Lab" Band name. So much fun to be taken back in time with your music. THANK YOU is all I can say. 😍😍😍
I have said it before but it bears repeating. You individually are amazing musicians. Collectively you are absolutely the best group to ever do covers. You nail the song, the tone, and sometimes add a little of yourselves. Amazing. I love everything you do. I know the engineer puts the mix together, but your mix is always flawless. Amazing job. Love and Respect to all of you.
Damn, guys. What an awesome cover you did here. With the insane production quality the Def Leppard albums had back then, it’s not easy to replicate. This is the best Leppard cover I’ve ever heard by far.
You guys are really incredible. Thank you all your years of practice time and private lessons your parents shelled out through those years to get to this level of talent. Thanks for making such great music for all to hear. Hours of awesome music.
It’s like falling in love all over again watching your attention to rhythm, timing, pitch, and I could go on forever ! I’m 51. This IS MY MUSIC ! and I absolutely love what your doing with it !! Thank you !!!
Excellent cover of Hysteria, one of Def Leppard's best songs from 1988. They were young in 1983 when they had a huge success with 1983's Pyromania album and Tour. Rick Allen was only 21 when after that Tour he received a big pay day and bought a Corvette which almost cost him his Life in the accident. He lost only an arm but for a drummer this likely lead to an increased risk for depression and suicide. However, Rick was able to deal with the situation which inspired many. In 1991, guitarist Steve Clark's inability to handle his situation(alcoholism and pill-popping) did cost him his Life(RIP). From 92's Adrenalize album on, DL began recording many more ballads and positive-vib songs which bordered on Christian Rock with song's like: Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad, Stand Up Kick Love into Motion , Two Steps Behind, When Love & Hate Collide, Miss You In A Heartbeat , Breathe A Sigh, We Belong, Good Bye , Long Long Way To Go , Promises , Now, Wings Of An Angel and Work It Out.
Have you all received any positive remarks from the original artists? You’ve all earned it. Without a doubt, the passion and love for all the music you’ve performed is evident and I’m a huge fan!
@@LexingtonLabBand I cant help but imagine that these bands you cover are amazed and appreciative of musicianship and the level of work you all put into these! As fans, we would like to hear about interactions and feedback given by these bands such as Boston, Eagles, Def Leopard, Pink Floyd etc. Make a video and tell us about those!

If there is a better cover band, I’ve not heard it.
Hindley Street Country Club from Australia are in the same league and I would hate having to choose my favourite between the two.
Those comments are right we really can't say cover anymore, the word is Tribute !!
This is the best cover band I have ever heard. In all my 58 years, I have never heard a band as good as them. Why aren’t they making albums?
There's no money in cover songs.
@@thawrath9306 There is money in 146,000 youtube subscirbers.
I would buy anything they put out! They're absolutely fantastic!!! 😊
Their Stevie Nicks songs are better than Stevie Nicks!
If I had my wish, LLB would put out cover albums. Love the emotion and dedication to exactness.
The best Def Leppard song ever.
I AGREE 🤘💖🎶
TOTALLY ...agree
Love the symmetry of the lyrics
Man... I'm thinking it's the best LLB song ever as well (so far)
Absolutely!
How many people know Randy used the actual bass that was recorded on the Hysteria album by Rick Savage.
A rare example where the remake eclipses the original! Salute to you Lexington Lab Band!!!
