    The picture itself is BEAUTIFUL! I wish there were a little more step by step to your technique, as it stops, then starts again with entire flowers already painted with texture and highlights.

    I you don't stretch your paper, how do you eliminate the distortion of the paper from the water?

    • @artistsnetwork
      @artistsnetwork  9 лет назад +2

      +sandrahelenes Try wetting your paper thoroughly on both sides before painting. Enjoy!

    Thank you! I have your book and video, and am attempting to get started W/C painting very soon! Do you ever experiment with Hot or Blatant color schemes, where the full spectrum is on the page? Please look at Mikko Tyllinen's painting style! He sparks my creative side of color application! I am a disabled Veteran, and have a plethora of colors and like a bright palette...Some artists say to stay clear of the browns and ocres, and keep everything vibrant. What is your call in this regard? Go bright and avoid neutrals? Just curious! After all, there are no browns on the color wheel! HELP!

    Sorry, but it is hard to see what you are doing as you are doing it. Your hand is in the way. However, beautiful picture!
