I remember when my mom was in isolation we use to pass this one room for recovery I believe. One time we passed it and there was an elderly man in it. It was quick glance as we passed. Couple hours later we were about to pass it again and I looked in again and no one was in there. Bed was neat and seemed no one has ever been there. We've only been there a couple hours visiting. From time to time I send a silent prayer for him to rest in peace.

18:05 thank you for the warning, honestly. Subscribed just for that tbh cause I know I’m safe from that. Got enough bad stuff going on in my life, don’t need to hear about pets being mutilated as well. Thank you again, truly I mean it.
Honestly love listening to this podcast , great for road trips… I was driving home alone from work and was listening to this, the story towards the end about the guy in the morgue was playing as my passenger seat belt light came on and my car got cold (I had the heat on max). I was really freaked but oddly got a thrill so I figured I would share ✨
How sweet & feel it was your angel friend keeping you company or someone near & dear about to pass or, lol, put your seat belt on🤗 no harm came to it now did it🤔pray hope🙏💙❣
I'm a night nurse too, many other staff have had spooky experiences on our unit, but I never have. I'm usually pretty sensitive to that kind of stuff, but being the charge nurse and needing consistent professional composure, I'm just grateful nothing supernatural ever challenged that lol.
Back when I was in college I started as a nursing major before switching to psych. When I did clinicals, one of my assigned patients had gangrene. I changed her bandage to see a black infected hole in her leg lined with red inflamed tissue and puss. The smell was horrible. It was sickly sweet and rotten like burning sugar and hair mixed with rotten meat. It seeped into my clothes and hair. The worst part of all was the patient herself. She was crying in fear and pain. She could see and smell her leg and she was terrified that she would loose her leg and not be able to work. Even as a student, I knew that it was the leg or her life. I couldn't do it anymore. I couldn't imagine loosing a patient and seeing the family. Being a nurse is extremally difficult and I respect the people who are strong enough to do it.
Poor woman. Surprised the shock didn't stroke her out aswell. You got out just at the right time & changed your path in life. I wish you luck & joy in it. 🧛♀️🖤
Wow really bad.. I had sepsis, and was hospitalized for 2mos..luckily I got better, but it was so horrible.. I lost my ability to walk, and had to do therapy, to learn how to walk again..
I've been in the healthcare field for many years and work in a hospital. I've heard rumors from other staff about ghostly encounters in certain units, and I've even had one of my own. Most of the time the hospital is one of those places that's become familiar to me, so there is not much fear there. The scariest part of hospitals is the incredible human suffering and death that goes on within their walls, and the fact that sometimes not even 21st century medicine and well trained staff can prevent it. I've seen many things, many deaths, and incredible suffering in hospitals over the years.
Re listened to this today while sleepin, and that buzing sound at 1:15:40 spawned a dozen mosquitoes in my dream, woke up francticly hitting the air around me.
I do work for an ambulance company as EMS. I hate hospitals, (yet I chose a career that I work around them) but I do love scary stories. These stories will make me use my imagination when I go into the hospitals. 😁
@@marykennedy9462 me too, I hate hospitals but have worked in EMS for 6.5yrs. Being a healthcare provider is definitely better than being a patient. When I'm the pt, I have the worst medical anxiety!!!!
So before this i watched a 5 hours compilation and now im onto this one so hell yeah let's do this! You're the best so how dare others complain about these awesome compilations! You love what you do even though you're a busy man with a family and all and i cannot even begin to tell you how much i appreciate your work and talent! I have never had a nightmare until i started listening to you then i started having them nightly but i truly do love them because the way you explain everything so eloquently, it makes for some pretty vivid, wild nightmares haha. You deserve so many more subscribers it baffles me that you dont but i guess a lot of people don't have good taste sadly but you have loyal fans like me so no loss to you. Also, that diabetic joke you told where you said, "the diabetes is strong with this one" on that one video with the unwrappping the candy box, that was hilarious and I'm type one diabetic so even though some people may get offended i find it rather hilarious so keep it up good sir! I'll always be a fan and support you in any way i can so no worries. Please don't ever change my good sir and keep being you! Much love and good vibes sent your way from one of your darklings!🖤🖤💯💯
so funny thing is I am writing this from the ER, I listen to these stories at work and as I'm listening to this episode, I sliced the tips of two of my fingers off.
This compilation is absolutely chilling! The storytelling is incredible and kept me on edge the entire time. Perfect for late-night listening. Keep up the amazing work!
UK nurses, carers and HCA have a tradition with any patient that sadly passes away. My old dear has been a HCA for years, working towards level 5. Every patient she has had pass away, she will open the window to let their soul out. Every nurse, carer and HCA does this. My old dear isn't even religious or a paranormal believer. However, she has told me about similar cases which to me seem quite bizzare. For obvious reasons she never says the names, but one older man she was looking after on the ward randomly said to her, its okay now. My love is here and she is going to take me with her. That night around 4am he passed away in his sleep. And as always, she opened his window paid her respects. Another thing she does is talk to them, like they're still alive. Not sure if anyone else does. But, the opening of the window I have heard many others say they do it, working within the NHS. Be it care home or hospital.
Yup, we do that. Also talk to the passed patient as if they’re watching us from the top left back corner of the room as we’re doing ‘last offices’. Once family have been to say their goodbyes if they choose to, we open the window to let their soul leave.
@@Fleurbunny Same here in Detroit. My fiancée and I both work at the same hospital, and being from the south, she covers any and all mirrors in addition to opening the window and talking to the deceased.
We do that all the way over here in NY as well as- helping the spirit/soul find their way out of the hospital. They say if you don’t open the window that’s when they become trapped and haunting a occur lol I mean if I was stuck in a hospital for eternity I would haunt it too 😅
These stories are just what I need to unwind after a 24hr shift.😊 Thanks for posting the longer videos. They're perfect for stormy nights when I have trouble getting to sleep. You have a very soothing voice so please, keep them coming ❤
I love these videos. I don't know who makes these compilations but I enjoy them very much. Keep up the great work. And for those who complain, please at least allow us to enjoy these videos.
Hey, I enjoy these compilations. Speaking of hospitals, my husband over the last year has practically lived in one half the time. He still has a long way to recovery, and listening to your stories has given us something fun we can do together while resting. So... thanks for the compilations. We love the stories, and it's nice to have a long list of certain types of stories to listen to depending on mood. :D
My partner works at a hospital and when he came home last night he said he had a very creepy experience. He said he had to show a new employee where the employee health clinic was, which is down in the basement of the old wing of the hospital. He said they took the elevators down and got out then turned the corner and suddenly were met with this very uneasy feeling like someone is watching. They went down the corridor and turned another corner and the health clinic was there but it was closed at that time of day so they headed back to the elevator. He said there wasn't anyone else down there at the time and when the elevator was coming down to their level, they both could hear voices from the elevator of what sounded like nurses having a conversation. He said it sounded like at least 3 nurses. They stepped aside so when the door opened, they wouldn't be in the nurses' way. But when the door opened, there was no one inside the elevator. They got major chills but still got in and went back up to their main floor.
I have survived a hemorrhage, brain aneurysm actually, I stayed in hospital for 12 days! Had to learn how to walk again and had to go to a centre to help with that and my balance is very bad now and I have bad vertigo also.
only creepy thing ive seen while working in the hospital is a glance of a shadow figure standing in the middle of the hallway in one of the hallway mirrors.
In my younger yrs I was a 3rd generation Psych Tech & my grandfather used to tell me things that happened in his day. I’m 75 & it still amazes me how our brains/ mind work. Along with environmental conditions.. influencing in life. It’s truly sad how some people ended up in mental facilities just because they were old & an embarrassment or snapped after having kids or just down right despair. Now are hospitals are pretty much close & the residents were put out to look after themselves 😢. It just breaks my heart for Some of them 💔 Pedaphiles (?) serial killers, narcissist… electric chair works fine 👵🏻👩🌾❣️
Here is a very scary hospital story for all of you,... my aunt worked at a hospital and was asked to take the bodied of two men down to the morgue. While in the elevator, it broke down and she was trapped in the elevator in the dark for half an hour between two dead men!!
I absolutely love listening to all compilation stories shared. Helps me slumber off comfortably & feel just as good on awakening still hearing my favorite narrators beautiful voice. Thx for the karma it brings me for many a story shared I can relate to or believe in❤ such is life eh🤗🤭
During one of my hospital stays I awoke in the middle of the night opened my eyes and not 2' in front of me floating in mid air was a Chinese death mask. I could've reached out and touched it! So I just closed my eyes again. When I opened them up it was gone. The lights in that room flickered on and off whenever they felt like it.👹😵💫😱
Very, I guess I'm more sensitive to paranormal things than some people, but I don't enjoy it at all. My feeling is that you can invite the wrong kind of energy into your "being" by subjecting yourself to places of great anger or sorrow. Wether your conscious of it or not, prepared or not. All for some cheap thrills. No thanks, lol. Anyways unless you plan to cultivate those senes it doesn't pay to mess with that kind of stuff
This is just an algorithm-boosting comment. Keep up the great stuff. My girlfriend can't believe I like falling asleep to this but I love it all the same.
The story about the reaper. The author says they felt something “unnatural” when the reaper came. Hate to break it to you but the reaper is one of the purest and most natural things you will ever feel because she comes for all of us.
To the deputy whom described the horrors of withdrawal. Thank you for your compassion and empathy. I wouldn't wish addi tion and the enviable withdrawal on anyone. Typically, the stories mentioning addicts are dripping with apathy, vilification and the long look down the nose of a holier than thou. - The ones typically renting glass apartments... Ok, so, I must step off the Tide box now. I felt you needed to know : because of your open and caring heart,- you helped those in their most desperate suffering. And that kind of love continues to aid that which ails long after the farewells are spoken. This , I assure you. P.S. must express respect and gratitude to the many honorable and brave Police and other 1st responders. I am awed by your courage (and /or crazy?) in the absolute worst and deadly of human interactions.
Trans Allegheny is awesome and definitely haunted! I would love to hear from the OP about when they went and if it was recently. I spent the night about ten years ago and my experience was very different
So the nurse actually left a patient in the dark with a spirit that's nice ! The nurse actually got to run away but the patients couldn't go anywhere. I'm so sad spirit or not if a child ask you to play and you run that makes me wanna cry. I understand it sounds creepy but they are Still children regardless
The Asylum story sounds Very suspicious that you're not allowed to keep your phone and use your own flashlight, They give you flashlights that probably go out. And since it's pitch dark they were probably the ones Scaring the c*** out of you all. I'm not a skeptic but this sounds very suspicious to me not the story tellers fault the people who run the Asylum. Quarantine station In all the Asylums make me sad more than scared. Because those poor people were trapped there in life and are still trapped there after.
Spending 8 hours being operated on and the doctor removing as much of an orange sized cancerous tumor that they could is a horror story in itself🤕. And then the very next day having to have emergency surgery in the same area. I spent a week or so in ICU. 🎗️🎗️🤕
I hope you're recovering well and I do hope you will be alright and if you ever need an ear or support, we are all here for you dear! Much love and good vibes sent your way dear🖤
Possible Possession - Yes, demons really do exist. Not necessarily in the way most people are accustomed to thinking of them. They are the worst emotions and intentions of mankind summoned, and conjured subconsciously by our collective unintentional efforts. In some cases not so subconscious or unintended.
FYI: HIPPA covers an inmate with AIDS or any other disease. Hospital staff cannot tell CO's, Deputies, etc. People in law enforcement are unfortunately left in the dark regarding these situations. I worked in a prison and we could NOT be told who had anything. That deputy and his wife will want to follow up with tests every 6 months for 2 years.
When Darkness Prevails put out a compilation, you bet your a** that I'm clicking onto this with gusto! IDK, I guess I just love to let the darkness take control! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤💯
That's a good scam. Tell people they can get 70% of their money back if they stay the night but don't let them have working flashlights and then set an actor on them in the darkness. -__-

Well said❤️
'negligence' is your own; every pt is a worst case scenario until you know otherwise
Trans Allegheny is awesome and definitely haunted! I would love to hear from the OP about when they went and if it was recently. I spent the night about ten years ago and my experience was very different
I've always wanted to go there so what was it like? What advice do you have?
I'm interested as well 🙂
Yeah, it's super heavy and tragic energy. Even during the haunted house around Halloween.
I love the story that the person advised the spirit to call out to God. We are nothing without God.
This story sent shivers down my spine!
Thank you for the stories 😊
The Asylum story sounds Very suspicious that you're not allowed to keep your phone and use your own flashlight, They give you flashlights that probably go out. And since it's pitch dark they were probably the ones Scaring the c*** out of you all. I'm not a skeptic but this sounds very suspicious to me not the story tellers fault the people who run the Asylum. Quarantine station In all the Asylums make me sad more than scared. Because those poor people were trapped there in life and are still trapped there after.
More awesome stories Darkness. Just love them.❤❤❤❤❤
Spending 8 hours being operated on and the doctor removing as much of an orange sized cancerous tumor that they could is a horror story in itself🤕. And then the very next day having to have emergency surgery in the same area. I spent a week or so in ICU. 🎗️🎗️🤕
Best wishes for swift recovery!
I hope you're recovering well and I do hope you will be alright and if you ever need an ear or support, we are all here for you dear! Much love and good vibes sent your way dear🖤
@@arthurchadwell9267 Sorry I just saw this 😔. Thank you ❤
@@droneadventures4147 Thank you!! That means a lot ❤
@@jessicadanna5206Thank you Jessica!! Means more to me than you know ❤️
AWESOME, I have work to do and I can listen to this the whole way through. :)
Possible Possession - Yes, demons really do exist. Not necessarily in the way most people are accustomed to thinking of them. They are the worst emotions and intentions of mankind summoned, and conjured subconsciously by our collective unintentional efforts. In some cases not so subconscious or unintended.
Damn some of these stories are really Spoopy
Love your stories. Keep up the good work
FYI: HIPPA covers an inmate with AIDS or any other disease. Hospital staff cannot tell CO's, Deputies, etc. People in law enforcement are unfortunately left in the dark regarding these situations. I worked in a prison and we could NOT be told who had anything. That deputy and his wife will want to follow up with tests every 6 months for 2 years.
That seems kind of odd and highly dangerous
@@angelmedic9829 it is. In every way.
Yes!!! Compilation Time! Luv It!!! DP 🤍🖤🤍🖤
Love the background music at 17 minutes
Love u DP❤
Loved the intro💚💚💚
Those stories were freaking creepy, 😳 I was listening in bed in the dark, and holy cow I was so scared 😱.. thank you for awesome stories 😀
Amazing stories
I had fallen asleep with this playing and got some of the most terrifying dreams I had in a minute. I had to turn a light on to go back to sleep 😅
I enjoy the compilations. Enjoy the game 😏
I work twelve hours sitting in a chair by myself. Hour hour video? Fantastic! Also momma's chicken tendies rule all.
When Darkness Prevails put out a compilation, you bet your a** that I'm clicking onto this with gusto! IDK, I guess I just love to let the darkness take control! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤💯
Yoooo I love when you say the locations so creepy
I love longer videos ❤
That's a good scam. Tell people they can get 70% of their money back if they stay the night but don't let them have working flashlights and then set an actor on them in the darkness. -__-
Compilations are great!
Does anyone know what the track playing at 3:15:24 is called?
