Fun fact, I worked in the cell house this man was housed in in El Dorado Correctional Facility back in like 2017-19. He's...an uncomfortable person to interact with. He acts weirdly normal but he seems like he's always just a little pissed off. Like there's always a little anger, specifically in his eyes. I know that sounds cliche but it's one of the only ways I can describe him. I met quite a few serial killers in that prison, but Robinson, BTK, and the Carr Brothers will always be the ones I remember most.

I gotta say, people working in the 70s and early 80s apparently had it incredibly easy. Today you can have a whole stack of legitimate certifications, an education from an expensive college, and years of experience and you're still lucky to get an entry level position with the possibility of promotion to something relatively well paying a decade down the line.
This man didn't know shit and had a stack of fake documents and still rode desks in administrative roles jumping from well paying position to well paying position. Hardly anyone even questioned it or cared. Absolutely absurd.

Not to mention the incredibly slow paced work load, due to a much smaller population. From my understanding most manufacturing plants had 15 minute smoke breaks every 15 minutes. I remember as a kid in the early 90s my dad took me to his workplace where we just walked around checked everything out and shot the shit with his co workers. My grandfather's resume also stacked with jobs you need education and an "IN" to get. (Paramedic, police admin...)he came from 🇳🇱 holland with no education and very little english. Funny they all talk about how hard they had it. Must have been real tough when they all owned homes at 23 years old and only 1income but a family of 5. In thier defence it wasn't a very nice house probably just a 2000ft² 10years old at that time $100,000.00 half an acre lot that they just sold last year for 1,500,000.00. Lol Id love to go on and on about how rough they had it but I think the only thing left to mention is that one bill they got every month, the home phone line that they spent a week going through to find out why it was 20 bucks instead of 16. Also, he kept moving around and back then, even all law enforcement didn't necessarily communicate with each other.

    Thank you for promoting Unmasked.
From the book: "I order another bourbon, neat. This is the drink that will flip the switch. I don’t even know how I got here, to this place, to this point. Something is happening to me lately. I’m drinking too much. My sheets are soaking wet when I wake up from nightmares of decaying corpses. I order another drink and swig it, trying to forget about the latest case I can’t shake."
His writing reminds me of "hard-boiled detective" novels, but in Paul Holes' case, it's real life. We forget that those who investigate heinous crimes and pursue murderers often pay a high price in their own emotional and mental health, as well as sacrificing relationships along the way.

This guy’s criminal history, my goodness, all those crimes and basically no jail time!?! It’s outrageous that the police knew these women disappeared under sketchy circumstances, with this guy as the common denominator, must be a coincidence, eh? They all were grown women and had every right to disappear under sketchy circumstances, eh? Only took, what, six or seven dead women connected to him? These cops, absolutely worthless, should have done their job after the first or second suspicious disappearance. The blood of the other women is on their hands and they know it. True story: I’m kinda airheaded sometimes cuz I’m always busy and really add. I got an interview with this local travel agency. It was on a busy commercial street where I live so I assumed it was a small office or something. I had my picture up on my resume though this app that sets it up really nice for you. I thought that may help me since I am decent looking and pay attention to how put together I look. So they know I’m a petite 35 year old woman. my mom is always a skeptic and investigated the company. They have a basic template webpage that is not very thought out. She was about to give up thinking they were just small and didn’t have a internet person. Then she looked up their address. Turns out it was to an apartment in a really rough area. Sketch af. So I didn’t go to the interview. The scariest part was that they called me randomly for months wondering if I still didn’t need a job. I feel like I dodged a bullet. I reported it to the non emergency number since there was no crime and they didn’t care at all. So I hope their lack of interest didn’t cost anyone their life.

Melissa Lucio is on death row here in Texas scheduled to be executed this week for the death of her infant daughter.
Lucio's attorneys say her capital murder conviction was based on an unreliable and coerced confession that was the result of relentless questioning over 5 hours where she denied killing her infant daughter >100 times.
The child fell down ~15 stairs according to witnesses that the jury was unaware of because the prosecutor did not share the evidence.
