The Acropolis 1480mts, part of the Du Cane Range in Cradle Mt, Lake St Clair Nat Park south west Tasmania is one of the top twenty five peaks in Tasmania & an absolutely must to climb. It's vertical dolerite fluted columns stand like silent statues and makes for excellent photography in all kinds of weather, the 360 degree views from the summit are outstanding.

Thanks Rachael glad you liked it, it was great sharing those couple of days in Pine Valley hut although I seemed to be the odd person out as everyone there had finished the Overland Track & I was recovering from my Frankland Range experience. We were extremely fortunate to have such great weather & really it was nothing about the help it's all part of the journey, happy hiking
