- Lily is the youngest guest I have ever had on my channel - she is 18 years old and still in high school but you would never know when meeting her. Aside from her obvious external beauty (she has Chinese and Navajo roots), she has an amazing personality and we share some of the same interests. She is also very passionate about the environment and has given up fast fashion completely which I find so admirable and inspiring. We were connected through a mutual friend and I felt extremely privileged to have her join me in this session. I apologize for any background sounds and outside noises - we filmed in a different room than usual and it is closer to traffic & everything out happenin’ out there (construction, lawn mowers, our neighbor’s rooster, our other neighbor’s AC, etc.). I'm back with more ASMR and I missed making these videos - it feels like it's been forever?? Huge thank you to Lily, my beautiful guest today and all around amazing woman (and high schooler - still in disbelief!!). My apologies for all of the background noise. There's a lot of construction/traffic near our living room where we filmed. We were so in the zone while recording I had no idea there was so much noise until I started to edit! There’s something comforting about the background noises. Surprisingly more calming than distracting. It felt like I was nice and cozy in this space and safely tucked away from the external noise.
Yessss I LOVE the sound of the chair and floor squeaking. And the cars going by. Reminds me of the time when I was little laying down for bed at my aunts house and I could hear the cars driving by. Brings me baaaack to that specific memory lol

Agree with everyone here saying the background noises were soothing. For me it looks so bright and sunny and felt like you had the windows open on a summer day. It’s been said before too but the background noises are so comforting and especially combined with this video. There is something nostalgic and calming about them. Like some childhood memory of a cozy afternoon and the feeling of being taken care of. Of feeling safe.

Can I just say: I love how especially in the description you show no sign of belittling her because of her age. When I was younger I had older friends because I tend to act older and be more wise, and they treated me like a child that they were obligated to take care of but also like they didn’t want to. They didn’t want to deal with a child. Anyways, this is refreshing to see!!

Okay YES lighting!! Oh my gosh I am obsessed with the color scheme in this video. Love how light and airy it feels (the environmental sounds really aided this, actually!) and the touch of greenery you included is such a lovely addition. The smooth, clean white background pairs beautifully with the soft brown of your shirt and the chair and the model’s skin tone. All of this along with the subtle blue from your jeans brings together the perfect picture of spring. Composition is such an important detail and you crafted this shot masterfully. Wonderful job and amazing video. Glad the ASMR content is back!

As someone who is half Native American (Chippewa Cree & Mandan Hidatsa Arikara) & half Latina, I understand the Mulan/Pocahontas remarks mean goodness. But our culture is not represented through Disney movies. Remarks like that can be inconsiderate. If you have a compliment, just say she’s beautiful. She is beautiful because she’s caring about the environment, she is passionate about causes. Thats what makes her beautiful, not being compared to Disney characters. I hope people take this as insight and not criticism.

Julia, these kinds of videos are my absolute faves! You can tell you truly care about how the person feels, and I think that's what makes it so relaxing for me. It's not just another run-of-the-mill massage video (don't get me wrong, those are great too) but you can almost feel the care you put into the massage and the video itself. Not sure if you would be available or even interested love, but i attend an event here in San Diego at the embarcadero (it’s behind the convention center) this event is held by the Rady children’s hospital and basically it’s called the race of champions! It’s for all the children diagnosed, going through treatment, in remission, or have passed from leukemia. Every single person from the San Diego Padres to the nursing staff that shows up on their days off and the volentwers like you that offer their services to these children for a few hours on one day ...? 😬 let me know if you are interested . Last year a few women and men had three beds that they did this type of relaxing, gentle work for some few moments of smiles .😀

I love these experiential ASMR videos, cuz it shows you really dont always need a heavy focus on sounds. You are great at producing second-hand asmr just through visuals. It always feels like I'm in the chair!

I actually didn't mind the background noise at all. In fact, I think it helped me to relax more watching this. I missed your videos in this format, it's been a while! I missed your magical, hypnotizing hand movements and all the natural oils. Also, Lily is super beautiful! I'm so jealous of her genes, her Chinese and Navajo roots compliment each other really well and she seems to have inherited the best traits! I wish I had even half of that. I feel if she ever went for like photography modeling let's say for clothing and fashion (I could see her rock this alternative, hipstery look) she could get really famous. I have the hugest urge to get my Nikon and take portraits of her! (I do some photography casually and I love taking pictures of people and the environment.)
