Awesome,, Black and White Go Together and Get Taped Off. The Green and Bare Go Together and then get grounded. The Red is Hot. My Dimarzio Tone Zone pickup now reads 16.6k ohms. Nice Video.
I used the black wire as hot on my dimarzio ibz. using the red the sound too dark muddy and unresponsive. maybe the colour code is different on the ibz's?
Arigato guma sta, you answered all my questions! I wanted to know which wires you connect together, other pick ups I have used, it was White and Red , with Green being Hot and Black the Ground! Watashi no namae wa Torigoe-san desu.
Just did mine joined the black and white together taped them off, jointed the green and bare ware together and put them to ground and then connected the red to the 5 way connector you only need the one wire and it works fine. was a bit confused at first as the ibanez pickups used 2 wires but i think the white was a ground.
