I am a Marine who served 2 Deployments in Iraq and 3 in Afghanistan. I've seen some of the worst things mankind can do to one and other. I lived walked and fought in what is a Darkness that does nothing but destroy. It destroys your being your soul your belief of humanity. When i saw and continue to see this little girls bravery and her sweet message to her Country and its people. Well it has helped me to once again see and believe that there is still love and humanity in this world and it's Darkness. God Bless you and your family as well as the great people of Ukraine.
Even though i am from Sweden i would like to thank you for your service. And God bless you for still seeing the positive in life like here.
We need a blessing that a male war like "God" can never bring you brother, but yes keep believing in the magic of a young girls heart.
And we are grateful there was enough help to get her out of there.

I went to this at Wembley and let me tell you, there was not a dry eye in the house! The look on that little girl's face, never seen such pure joy ever! What a moment!
I actually went to this live with my mates and mates mum and dad and I got to meet Amelia and the cast of frozen th musical and let me tell you there wasn't a dry eye in sight including me and my mates an I've seen what Elsa and Anna have done they've changed the words slightly for Amelia haven't they

What a beautiful young girl such pure joy in amongst a life torn apart. She is a credit to her parents. As a father of a daughter myself, l do hope her own father gets to see this too, such precious moments.

You never know, 10 years from now; she may be playing one of the leading roles in the cast of Disney's frozen the musical...she has the voice, been seen by the right people, the looks and the personality I think.

I've watched this many times from the 'surprise ' beginning. Her reaction is priceless. Yet I was struck by two things even more than her reaction....do kids go for Elsa over Ana? In all the excitement she seemed to pass over Ana for Elsa..made me smile cause of the innocence of the whole picture...most importantly I was taken back and tried to put myself in the Mothers shoes. How a song performed, with no music in a basement, hiding from the bombs of war, took her little girl on a journey that led to a stadium surrounded by Elsa and Ana singing with what seemed their whole heart...that mom showed amazing poise and control when I considering seeing her reaction (MOM) sent a chill down my spine each time I watched this. Its amazing on so many levels!!
After her song in Kyiv, her mother and brother and she move to Poland. Not long after arriving, Amelia sang the UKR national anthem to an arena full of people for a UKR fundraiser in Poland. Since then, Amelia has appeared on several TV shows in EUR, and been to the US, to film something that is supposed to be a secret. I don't think her mom, nor Amelia, could say no to these requests. Anything to help UKR. What is a twist is that her parents were not grooming her to be a performer. She just likes to sing around the house, all day. This has now become bigger than winning a golden buzzer on Got Talent. The whole thing started just bc she wanted to entertain strangers in a bomb shelter. Wow.

Yes, i was delighted to see Mom''s OMG reaction to what her 8 year oid daughter was accomplishing. This easily surpasses any Golden Buzzer that America's Got Talent could award.
What impresses me most about Amelia is her chutzpa (Yiddish word, for "daring") She gets up in front of strangers in a bomb shelter to entertain them. Very soon, she was singing -solo- the UKR national anthem in a packed stadium in Poland. To be followed recently by a performance of "Let It Be" in Wembly stadium. Wembly, for those who do not know, is the most historic stadium in GB., If GB holds a major event - world cup., performance by Tina Turner, whatever, it's at Wembly.
The legend of Amelia is growing faster than anybody expected. It seems that she loves it.

I've been watching Amelia's other appearances on other TV shows ... Apparently Amelia and her mother had just seen Elsa (Samantha Barks) and Anna (Stephanie McKeon) live on the big stage in London. This wasn't like the show walked out a couple of good singers. Amelia knew who they were, stars, and reacted with joy. They had changed some of the lyrics specifically for Amelia - "Vse Odno. Show us what you can do. Vse Odno. The magic one is you." "Vse Odno" is Ukrainian for, take a guess now ... "Let it go".

I mean can you imagine going through literal hell, and still having the kindness to make others happy. The girl is bloody incredible.

I'm so happy for Amelia and her mother, Lilia to have such an experience. Amelia was bubbling-over with excitement throughout, and equally, her mother with pride and happiness. I would like to have seen her father's response when he saw this clip over in Ukraine.
It's difficult for some to imagine the suffering of those in Ukraine, I feel Amelia embodies the heart and humanity of Ukraine and it's people. Seeing her, really brings home that there are innocent people, families, and children enduring the horror of this war, rather than it just being a faceless war from which we are detached.
I hope that Amelia and her family, and of course the people of Ukraine, can go on to enjoy ordinary lives sooner rather than later. I think it's very possible that Amelia may go on to become a celebrity recognised throughout the world in her adulthood. I hope that she may go on to become a professional singer... she loves it so.
