Yes, I and my husband were in for three years, converted. By my JW brother whom I had not seen for a number of years until he showed up at our door as a JW “minister”. In those three years, our family blew apart. It was a horrible experience after recruitment “in”, ending in a broken family, broken hearts, and near death.
@ Thank you. It has taken me years to finally write the story. I just finished about a week ago. To this day, I have no family relationship with my JW bro who is now in his 80’s. Elders will not allow him around his “apostate” blood-sister. Everytime we try (last time was in 2022 when he suffered a stroke) and he reached out for help, they stopped it because I wouldn’t crawl back. I once tried in the 80’s to get reinstated FOR HIM, but could not stand to be shunned for another year back of a KH so I ran away. Brother had promised that if I trashed the book I had written about the WT (in the 80’s), we’d be family again once I trashed it and became reinstated. I threw it away but couldn’t stand going back and had a breakdown all over again. He withdrew immediately. It’s taken me all this time to work through the trauma and to rewrite the manuscript: “The Price of Paradise”. So yes, not everyone is “born in”. The ones who are recruited in like my husband and I, merely lasted three intense, family-busting years. We didn’t have a lifetime to ponder and change. It was a dynamic, explosive, love-bombing recruitment as Armageddon was to happen in 1975 (the time we were in). Then I disagreed with the No Blood Doctrine when I learned we were to stand by and allow children to die. Reported to Elders by husband, I was “removed” and lost everyone. Thank you for your program. ♥️
Agreed that the whole demonstration/performance/infomercial is designed to separate you from your family. I believe its because those around you will set you straight and help ypu think critically. I am on my third JW study this year. The first two, they dropped me when I said I wanted to study the bible ALONE: no watchtower publications. This time, I managed to bite my tongue and get through the "introductory" pamphlet, constantly reminding my "teacher" that I AM a Christian, I DO read the bible, I KNOW the bible contains wisdom and comfort and tells about the future, etc. Regardless, we still go through every mind-numbing paragraph, answer every ridiculous question about the paragraph, and watch silly videos testifying how great the JW's are. In the mid 1980's there was an instruction to dump any unproductive study after 6 months. Pioneers hated it because studies were time banking gold ! Everyone ignored this instruction anyway.
When I was growing up there was a JW couple that came to the door. They came around for around 25 years. I moved out in 1998, and my parents moved out in 1999. My mum didn't tell the couple , or the children who had grown up by then that they were moving. I guess that"s one way to get them to stop coming around.
I have studied with JW's off and on for years. In 1978 I was told by the JW's that we would stop the study. We were going through James. In all fairness to her, we only got together every 6 weeks because it took me that long to understand the book myself and I had three little one's, one nursing. Before Covid, about 2019 or so, I was studying with a woman who came once a week for a couple of years and then said that we should stop since neither of us were switching to the other one's religion. She's an elders wife. I suspect that she was told to close " going nowhere studies" I don't remember why I thought it so. Hope this helps in some way. Love Rebecca I'm 70.

This next message is in love and it really will test patience. Who is this message for??? Non JW's, current JW's and anyone outside any kingdom hall from anywhere in the world. I am 50 years old and do not know how much time I have left here. Utopian paradise is a code word for the lake of fire. Reading the holy bible for a lot of years plus reading between the lines helped me to get to this point. This also applies to me. If I follow this it's curtains for me and not only do your friends say goodbye to me but also God Almighty himself says goodbye to me permanently. There are things being kept secret from you and this is one of those secrets that even I was not supposed to find out. It remains highly recommended for all people to know these secrets. Do I trust Jesus Christ??? Yes I do. Do I trust the JW congregation??? Of course. Do I trust the JW god??? NO.
I suspect that these vacations JW promised to their bible student are in fact mandatory labor time on kingdom hall construction sites throughout the world. Therefore, when this bible student would get baptized, he would spend "vacations" helping other JW in building kingdom halls for free (they will not get any payment for their hard work done).
Because they need to prove to government funding agencies that they are “nice” and not so bad afterall. They need the tax-free exempt status and funding. They also need members.
They still fear apostates though, those hated “marked” people who dared disagree with a doctrine after baptism. And the only reason, besides funding, that they are nicer to those they’ve “removed”, is to preach them back in. Other than that, still no outside social association.
@@Kikovandeko I wish her well, and joy and peace. I honestly feel “apostate” is an unfair term to mark one with for petty disagreements over doctrines or anything else, while criminals fresh from prisons are welcomed into KH congregations.
I was reading the Bible KJV to some cart jws acts 24 , and they tryed to sum it up to me , he looked like an elder , he said Paul is countercultural... it's like he was saying Paul was just merely countercultural... almost like he was protecting me from the power of God , because his credentials(JW) were holier than me... maybe I was reading too much into it , but it's what I felt... I saw your video way back about how the Watchtower reduced Jesus to an older brother of James... it seems like this man reduces Paul to a countercultural , hippie who wears a nirvana shirt ... because maybe they know what buttons to push about what is in my past because I was soft shunned. I am concerned how they are able to stand there with a cart , and no one knows the truth of this org...it's almost like a tyrannical government with spys...
Haha, this made me laugh-I can just imagine Paul wearing a Nirvana shirt. Paul speaks of salvation by grace through faith, not works. So this JW self-righteous elder who I am sure has slaved very hard for his position, must attempt to shed a negative light on Paul. Yet Paul is the apostle to the Gentiles-he is our guy. Good for you that you shared the truth of scripture with them. Maybe if they find themselves in the bottom of the pit due to the lies of this organization, they will remember what you shared.
@@JWEscape That is interesting you mentioned this , I believe God put it in my heart recently when I remembered Luke 16 about Abraham's bosom , I was thinking about how people like the JW , and other evil ways of the world set people up for failure and poverty....(like what was done to me) and how people think they are so superior than others... that they are perfect... and I was thinking this is the perfect example (Luke 16) of how utterly flipped around they actually have it.... I was telling God... when he brought it up about when the man in hell was saying v28 "For I have five brethren ;that he may testify unto them , lest they also come into this place of torment." God showed me they will believe so deeply in their own works... this is what they will say even unto the pit... then he showed me , it has to be in God's own doing... he's perfect...men are not... Edit: So maybe they have someone they know in the pit....the JW elder I was talking to , who said something similar in replying to God in the past... "send someone on my terms , it will help." I was astounded of the possibility that God could be using me. All glory goes to God , it's not of works lest any man should boast.
Watchtower illustrations are frightening to little children, much like comic book explosions and scenes of Pow! Wham! Kapowy! Kaboom! The illustrations of all the wide grinning people with fruit baskets on their heads are absurd. Keep in mind all articles are written by unnamed writers and illustrated by unnamed artists. In any study of anything, certainly you want to know the writer’s scholarship and credentials. You’d be surprised, I’m sure, to learn an anonymous writer of a WT article is some nineteen year old Bethelite. In some back room somewhere with WT Org.
@christinesotelo7655 The WT illustrations are lifted straight out of the North Korean Painting Propaganda School. Just go on Google and look for that. It's like a parallel universe.
If anyone truly knows how this god works they will not be scared at all viewing Watchtower pictures. This god chooses to stay secret so it is very hard to know how this god works. You really have to do some serious study in the holy bible and read between the lines for many years in order to do this.
There's no trinity in the bible, scholars have proved that , the trinity got added in the 3rd century. So some you might be right on things, but get some of your facts right, scholars have proved the trinity is not biblical, not scriptural. So you all need to study and research with all the information that's provided.
The trinity was added? Read your Bible. Revelation 1:7,8 calls Jesus “The Almighty”. He is “the Alpha & Omega, the one who is, who was and WHO IS COMING AGAIN, THE ALMIGHTY”. This is why the book of Revelation is called “The Revelation OF Jesus Christ”.
Scholars have proved that the Trinity was added in the 3rd century? That's simply wrong. The plurality of God is throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. And the Deity of Christ Jesus also, which is very easy to prove. The vast majority of Bible Scholars and Theologians know that the Trinity IS in the Bible. So your claims are just false. In fact there is an archeological discovery that was made some years ago, that is just now making it's way through public media. It's a prayer hall or temple which early Christians used for worship in about 230 AD that has in the mosaics in the floors writing that calls Jesus "GOD" So long before the council of Nicea, almost a century, the early Christians were worshipping Jesus as God. If you want to be more informed on what the Bible says about the Deity of Jesus Christ and the Trinity, try reading the Bible without your biased opinions. Beyond that, check out Sam Shamoun's channel and prepare to be blown away.
Please realise that assertions are not proof. " Scholars have proved that...."? Not good enough. Names? What their proof was? Why dont you wend your way over to the floor of the Christian meeting house at Megiddo and meet Akeptous and his inscription( AD 230)...then start considering the creed sources in the letters.. That is if you are concerned with facts?

❤
Haha, they brought him a bag of food THAT HE HAD TO PAY FOR.
Are Witnesses doing "Uber Eats" now to supplement their income? 😂
They taught this years ago. Something like making your bowls count.
Months? My experience is that they ghost me after a few weeks. Maybe I ask too many questions.
😆 probably.
NO.
Never again will anyone have to be amazed at how Jim Jones got his followers to drink the Kool-aid .....
Absolutely.
My people come out of the Babylon the great watch tower Cult
These people have nothing to do with God
They lied to him regarding vacations too.
Is your family trying to get you back now my mother in law is one and she said all the meetings are about how to help disfellowshiped people now
Because they need to prove to government funding agencies that they are “nice” and not so bad afterall.
@@christinesotelo7655 yes you are right she would be considered a apostate so they probably don’t
@@Kikovandeko I wish her well, and joy and peace. I honestly feel “apostate” is an unfair term to mark one with for petty disagreements over doctrines or anything else, while criminals fresh from prisons are welcomed into KH congregations.
@@christinesotelo7655 so true
„and no one knows the truth"
Why don't you come to me and share the truth with me?
@@Jerzy956 Are you talking to me or about JW cart people? Sorry , I'm not understanding quite well.
@@Gabriel-p1n4r
If you know the „truth" about JW, maybe you could share it with me?
👏👏👏👏👏💪💪💪💪💪🙏🙏🙏🙏😁😁😁😁😁
Never leave the truth!
That's a Bozo no-no...
'The trouble with you christians is you are so unlike your Christ'. Mahatma Gandhi.
Mahatma Gandhi was correct in his observations.
It's a prayer hall or temple which early Christians used for worship in about 230 AD that has in the mosaics in the floors writing
that calls Jesus "GOD"
So long before the council of Nicea, almost a century, the early Christians were worshipping Jesus as God.
Don’t worry about it.
That is not true there 26 epistles found inclusief these stories watch tower deny. Onlly 2 did not. The catholic biblle, the vulgare and the Alexandre.
Thank you Elaine ❤
