I believe a lot of thise numbers are inflated to entice others to return. Here in NY i don't see much activity. Besides, Kingdom Halls have been selling off. How are these congregations formed? However, i don't care if a million were partaking, and a billion were baptized, i am not going back. I suffered for about 20 years of mistreatment and abuse. I AM DONE!!!
How many of the African congregation's are in a building? and how many brothers and sisters are sitting in the open, on a dirt floor for a meeting? Watchtower Society is so cheap. High hopes in Africa, the general person doesn't have much, easy to be exploited and to be lied to. The west in general has woken up, thank goodness.

@@shiftyourmindset2 hahaha one has to question the insanity. Then again, the GB members are mostly from the boomer generation that never approved that mental illnesses existed.
Every christian should take wine & bread because Jesus said so. JW do not know the bible. The only person not taking part at the last supper with Jesus was Judas. So everybody not taking bread & wine is on par with Judas. Good luck!
I heard from a Danish JW missionary that their biggest problem in Africa was the competision from the LDS Mormon Church. Not only where they more effective, but the LDS could offer work & educaton to their members. The JW not so much.
Added over 600 congregations but how many were sold? 4 congregations just in my area were sold and everyone was combined into existing congregations. Dont believe their stats.
Thanks Sven! I remember around 1989-1991 the number of the "annointed" went down to just over 7,000. They were probably alive when Rutherford decided he wanted two classes. As you have pointed out with the math, and the constant reducing of the hour requirement for "pioneers" - the report is a load of spin ⚽️ - I expect jws are at the doctor's regularly for dizzy spells 😅
I lived in a medium sized Brazilian city and haven't seen any of them in years besides a couple of extremely old ladies sitting near carts in a bus stop every once in a while. I have seen their Kingdom Hall and the place looked like an empty prison. How fitting.
Image has always been the most important thing to WT, and these new KH will show the r/f where their donations are going even id many are empty and they can ask for more donations for more KH because of the inflated growth also the money spent though may not be great add the KH together its a far bit to get rid of money with all those law suits going on. I know I am cynical.
Are the permits and laws in Africa very lax? This may be why they are so gun ho to build in Africa, here in America lots of money to build, lots of hoops to jump through to be legal. I Remer reading how it cost them 50 bucks to fix homes in Africa and they were better than what they had. Its all about money. Its too expensive to build in America so you get 100 congratulations in Africa for the same price. They just make you travel here to another congregation.

At this point I think Watchtowers numbers are just like their doctrines. Lies and deception is the only thing going up for Watchtower.

Yes, from what I heard from people who served there. Also the Watchtower are always competing with the LDS church for new members.
