In two mixing bowls add 1 pound of cherries in each 1 cup of sugar 1 cup of honey Mix until combined In 2 different clean and dried quart size mason jars add the cherry mixture. Top 1 of the jars with whiskey and put a lid on it give it a shake take lid off fill it to the top with whisky put a lid on it give it a shake. Periodically for 2 to 6 months give the jar a shake. Leave in the pantry. (Dream said you could add cinnamon if you wanted to). Top the other jar with vodka and put a lid on it give it a shake take the lid off fill to the top with vodka ( Dream used cherry vodka) plain vodka would work too.) Put the lid back on give it another shake. Leave in the pantry periodically for the next 2 to 6months give it a shake.
