Thanks for posting this, Graeme. Do you have any words of wisdom about how to get up after this kind of break fall, without touching / pushing off from the mat? I just grind to a halt when I roll back up, regardless of how much momentum I generate in a forward direction. Not sure if this is just the way I am built - even if I try to squat down on my heels, I inevitably topple backwards, unless I have my heels way off the mat and I perched on the balls of my feet.
