- ► Join me as I visit Parc Asterix in France for the first time! We go on all the major roller coasters, including the new record-breaking Toutatis - a steel launched roller coaster, which has become France's tallest and fastest coaster. It features four launches with a top speed of 107 km/h and a 51-metre top hat.
We also watch a show, the parade, meet characters, and show you some of the dining options and restaurants.
Thank you to #ParcAsterix for inviting us over.

PARC ASTERIX VLOG THEME PARK FRANCE TOUTATIS NEW FOR 2023r
Apologies in advance for the screaming on the rides, they were a LOT! 🙈😱🎢
Was that your first "big girl" roller coaster? :)
@@barusshka92no, they were just a lot more intense than any I’ve done in other theme parks!
@@Sam4G0d I see! What is you fav one in this park? Mine was Oziris ... and the craziest ride I had was on Zeus but backwards! 👀😁
It’s a theme park, we shouldn’t expect you to be muted.
😂😂😂😂 no apologies needed 🤣🤣🤣
I'd absolutely love to see you visit more non-Disney parks in Europe! I recently visited Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen myself and it was amazing. Europa-park and Efteling are probably the next ones on my list!
I am from Belgium it's was a big part of my childhood Astrid and Obelix 😍
Never knew this place existed!!! Fab vlog as always Samx
Thank you :)
I didn't even know this park was a thing :O Grew up with the comics ( as a German kid in the 2000s, most of us did ) and have a full collection of them. I'd love to visit, even if just for the vibes!
It's a really fun park :)
This was really lovely to watch in a different theme park. And you seemed like you had so much fun! 😂
Thanks Sophs :)
What a fun video 😊
Loved seeing you laugh on the rides! Glad you had fun! 💓
I first got into Asterix from the animation film of Asterix in Britain & my Dad bought almost the whole collection & I enjoyed reading them when I was young. I've tried collecting the books but only been able to get only a hand fully of them.
You guys really should've save goudurix as the last ride of the day since it's notoriously rough hahaha, your body can't take much more after that. And I can't believe you skipped Oziris, it's so good, very thrilling and smooth at the same time.
Haha good to remember for next time! And an excuse to go back!
Oz'Iris is definitely my favourite 😮
yess!! a new video!
I really love you videos sam ( ive been to this park also but i was like 7-8 years old then after we went to disney, oh I was a lucky kid hahaha)
Really hoping to bump into you someday! We were both at DLP at the same time on my birthday weekend (7-8-9july) and I didn't see you sadly enough :(
I'm hoping to bump into you in the future as I'm planning to go more to dlp (especialy in september)
Take care, already can't wait for your next video hahaha idk what it is but your voice became a kind of comfort now
Aww thanks so much! And happy belated birthday :)
It was cool being able to see the pov on the roller coaster with the go pro
Sam’s face during the ride is the best thing! 😂😂😂
hahaha
Awesome video!
It's actually going to be my first time going in September, I can't wait :)
For some unknown reason we had a whole set of Asterix books when I was growing up ..60/70’s and a reel of them for the viewfinder. ( like binoculars but you put wheels with things on them in and look at it). It was years later..early 90’s that we actually found out about him…
We still haven’t been to the park yet though…..
Great video Sam…this park looks amazing but do you have to speak French to really enjoy it. Can you navigate round with no French.
Love all the screaming……from both of you…😂😂👍🇬🇧
Such a great review! Totally agree; we went last year with our 2 year old daughter and I was pregnant. We had a wonderfull time there! The theming was so immersive and there were still quite a lot of rides we could do. Also would recommend the themed hotels that Parc Asterix has. All and all a great experience and very fun to see again in your vlog!
I never knew about this parc it looks amazing. Would love to go there with my kids. Thankyou so much for showing this❤
Thanks for watching 😁
Love you way of vlogging. And you are an amazing person!
💙
Dead 😂😂😂😂 loved this vlog soooo much. Especially the on-ride footage. 😂👌🏻 Well done!
I really enjoyed seeing you try out the rides, hilariously fun. Never been to that park but I am definitely interested after watching this.
We have been few weeks ago and we had a blast! I one the best theme parks in Europe. Glad you enjoyed it too :)
Thats a bit spooky :D my Brother asked me this weekend if I wanna Visit parc asterix next year with him and I was Looking for some vlogs about the Park. And I wished I found one from you... know the vlog is online
❤❤❤❤love
Both of the exterior of the restaurants have faces (the fruit make up a face and so do the windows on the castle) further cool theming! 😊
So weird to hear the Riverdance music being pumped into the park 😅
Sam i think the screenshot at 14.45 should be your new profil picture ahaha ! loved the vid as always !
A great vlog from a great park. Everything there is brilliant except Tonerre 2 Zeus! That thing is vile! My bones felt like they were being rattled to death and my whole upper body hurt for hours afterwards! If you want good wooden coasters then you should check out Blackpool, as we have some amazing classic rides that aren't exactly smooth but are slightly less brutal! 😂
Present bread of potato with butter and hot choc
Have you ever been in Puy du Fou? It’s the best Park in the world! So stunning!
Hi Sam, it's a pleasure to watch this vidéo.
Have you rode the water ride ? You miss the 4D cinéma (Attention Menhir)
For the restaurant i suggest you Le Relais Gaulois next to the entrance of Festival Toutatis Toutatis, it's a cafetariat, you choose your plate and vegetables are at Will.
You need to discover the Halloween season..
Thanks for sharing
There are actually many Live Action movies made from Asterix and Obelix. The first two are the best. The rest not so great. The second with Cleopatra is my favorite.
Lutèce was the gallo-romain name of Paris :)
I'm going to the Parc Astérix next week. I really enjoyed seeing you and your friend experienced it for the first time!
Thank you for letting me know! Have fun :)
Lutece is the name of the Gaul city that stood on the site of Paris! I don't know how historically accurate it is, but in the Asterix story 'Letece' is shorthand for 'the Big City'. It's also the site of the spin off kids cartoon 'Idéfix et les Irréductibles'.
WeAAayyyy hi Sam ❤
Awww this looks like a great park! Thank you for sharing this with us. I sadly had to skip a lot since some parts of the video gave me motion sickness :( do you use stabilizer Sam?
I do, but may need to change it soon, as I also noticed it being quite shaky in this vlog. Maybe my tiredness and the heat played a part 🙈
Sam4GOd i prefer it to Disinyland paris to
Great video, thank you! Have you been on Velocicoaster in Universal Orlando? I wonder how it compares to Toutatis (aka if I can do it 😂)
Thanks! I actually haven’t been back to Universal since Velocicoaster opened, so sadly don’t know 🥴
Just googled about asterix park didn't you try the Banquet? Le Banquet Gaulois
Great video - makes us really want to go. We drive past on the way to Disneyland Paris and always wondered what it's like. Is there much of a language barrier in this park if you don't speak French (or only a tiny amount!)
At the gift shops do they sale any print artwork posters from the comic books
À 48 min c maxigum la street
The sam4god drinking game. Lord have mercy = 1 drink. Lord have all the mercy = 2 drinks!
Hi Sam .... Not sure if it's covered in the vlog as not watched it all yet but how did you get to that park from Disney? We are going in Oct and want to do it just wondered how you found the trip and.was it easy enough ?
Have you ever been to Phantasialand Sam? I'm going to there and Efteling in 60 days (not that I'm counting) and would love to see a vlog from you there.
I haven't, but it's on my list of theme parks to visit next year :)
@Sam4G0d Yayy! I will be so excited for that vlog. Its not often I get to watch vlogs for places I've been to but the vlogger hasn't. Hope you enjoy when you go :)
there are old cartoon vid of it
2:25 Lutèce is not a character from Astérix but the name of Paris back in that period (from Latin, Lutetia Parisiorum)
Ahh thank you!
Comment for thé algorithm! A bit random but seeing you give your RUclips name made me wonder if you’ve considered changing your name to something easier/more relevant to the channel? Something without numbers or the word god would make it clearer at least from my perspective! Love your work 😊
Is there a bus or train to get there from Paris or even from Disneyland?
i’m from france but never went to Asterix, i’m pretty sure you can take a 1 hour bus from Paris Gare Bercy Seine train stop to Plailly’s Gare Routière Parc Astérix (where the park is located)
You should check on Maps
