MTB :: First Ride of Deer Haven Park, Lexington KY, with Mike Tyree

First time riding Deer Haven Park in Lexington KY. I had walked half of it on a prior scouting visit and was excited to try it out. We found it to be very fun, with flat and tight XC trails where it was really easy to get lost.
PS: despite all my complaining, I was having a great time 😆.

Looks like a stunning area to ride! We’ve got some nice areas around my way but they’re not as vast and it’s raining more often than not 😄

Too bad about the rain in your neck of the woods for sure. We get our share, but this time of year is generally pretty dry.
This area is actually quite compact, but it winds so tightly it seems as though one is covering a lot of ground 😅. You guys, though, you have the green lanes for motorcycling (at least in some areas?), of which I am quite envious. I have to say, though, I watched one vid of a couple of guys working through miles of rutted, flooded muddy lanes on dual sports, and was not envious of that!

Haha yes, I’ve had some times getting stuck in the mud and it’s not fun so all the best to those who enjoy that kind of thing 😆

@@MALVSMACHINE yes, the countryside here is very beautiful, so I am definitely thankful for that. But I feel like your area is also very beautiful.
