    So I know you're probably not reading this but I have been looking for how to make a lego explosion, kind of how like you made the explosion-ish thing when the helicopter was crashing, but like an explosion, explosion. I have no idea how to do it and haven't seen any tutorials, can you make a tutorial on how to make these explosions as well on what app/program you use. I really want to learn how to do this but have no idea how, thanks.

    • @bblanimation
      @bblanimation  7 лет назад +2

      Hey! If you're referring to the flare effect at 0:41, I used a particle system in After Effects. Check out Andrew Kramer's tutorial on particle systems if you're not familiar with them: www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/particle_explosion/

      You bet! Well deserved. Not sure if you have an answer to this, but I've been wondering what the rules are regarding using actual movie trailer audio in a brickfilm? I've contemplated making some trailers in LEGO, but I'm not sure if there are any copyright issues I should be aware of or whether or not I could monetize it. I'd hate to get a copyright strike, too. Any thoughts?

    • @bblanimation
      @bblanimation  8 лет назад

      I'm not entirely sure what the rules are; the safest bet is not to monetize it and you'll be fine :)

    Are some of the LEGO pieces CGI or are they all real bricks? I love your work, by the way!

    • @bblanimation
      @bblanimation  8 лет назад +2

      Actually it's all CGI :) The only practical LEGO bricks are the helicopter and buildings in the original plate.
