Thank you!

:)
Looks amazing! When's it coming out, exactly?! U are really talented
Thanks man! It should be out in the next day or two :)
Awesome, your a bloomin proffesional
So I know you're probably not reading this but I have been looking for how to make a lego explosion, kind of how like you made the explosion-ish thing when the helicopter was crashing, but like an explosion, explosion. I have no idea how to do it and haven't seen any tutorials, can you make a tutorial on how to make these explosions as well on what app/program you use. I really want to learn how to do this but have no idea how, thanks.
Hey! If you're referring to the flare effect at 0:41, I used a particle system in After Effects. Check out Andrew Kramer's tutorial on particle systems if you're not familiar with them: www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/particle_explosion/
Bricks Brought to Life Alrighty! Thanks so much!
No problem, thanks for commenting!
Bricks Brought to Life And thank YOU for replying to my question. :)
Looks so cool!
Thanks!
Bricks Brought to Life Question: How did you make those intros?
The VFX breakdown intro?
Bricks Brought to Life
yeah those lego templates.
I honestly thought that there was a full suicide squad trailer in Lego. If there is, I can't find it
Yeah, it should be out in the next day or two :)
Wowzers! Awesome!
+Plastic Planet Productions thanks man!
You bet! Well deserved. Not sure if you have an answer to this, but I've been wondering what the rules are regarding using actual movie trailer audio in a brickfilm? I've contemplated making some trailers in LEGO, but I'm not sure if there are any copyright issues I should be aware of or whether or not I could monetize it. I'd hate to get a copyright strike, too. Any thoughts?
I'm not entirely sure what the rules are; the safest bet is not to monetize it and you'll be fine :)
But then I don't get moneyz! Haha, thanks for the reply. Have a good one :D
Haha you too man :)
Wow nice work. I wish I could meet you. You seem like a cool person.
Haha thanks man, you seem pretty cool too :)
Are some of the LEGO pieces CGI or are they all real bricks? I love your work, by the way!
Actually it's all CGI :) The only practical LEGO bricks are the helicopter and buildings in the original plate.
+Bricks Brought to Life That's amazing! You definitely deserve more subscribers. :)
What program did you use to create the CGI Logos and text? It looks incredible!
Can You make a tutorial for how You make The cgi vfx?
what is the music in the background? It's tight, and really fits well.
Right?! I was so excited when I found it. I looked all over premiumbeat.com, but I eventually found the perfect track at incomptech.com, "Spellbound" by Kevin MacLeod :)
This is amazing! I love your work. What music did you use in this video?
+Decent Catastrophe Thank you! It's a song from Incompetech.com... though I don't have the name of the exact song accessible.
+Bricks Brought to Life Ok cool! Thanks
👍
what music is this it's dope👌👌👌 those effects are exactly like the movie
Hah yeah, after searching in vain for a paid royalty free track that would fit the edit, I ended up finding this gem on incomptech.com: "Spellbound" by Kevin MacLeod :)
+Bricks Brought to Life thanks buddy. keep up the awesome work👌👌👌
Anytime, and will do! :)
im wondering. why dont you make your own trailers?
I'm getting there :)
How long did the shot at 0:37 take to complete?
+GileadStudios couldn't say for sure as it was a while ago, but I'd estimate 4 hours.
Wow what do you use to make this and how?
I used Blender 2.77 and After Effects.
Dude this is amazing but could you go more in depth to how you made it Like a tutorial you don't have to if you don't want to though i mean I guess that it took a pretty good time making that
+Thebombtv.07 Nice I'm open to going more in-depth next time; I've got a few more breakdowns planned for the near future. Thanks for the comment :)
alrigght cool cant wait
What are you are you using Brickr for converting 3d Mesh in to Bricks? What file format does it take ? I have tried OBJ and 3DS
+TechGoggles Yep; I've only imported with OBJ, although I'm sure 3DS works as well.
Thanks, i figured out the problem It is a mac issue! it giving some weird error in mac, doesn't in windows!
What montage program do you use?
Hmm... not sure what you're referring to. I assembled the edit in Premiere Pro though :)
is the trailer out? :p
Haha not yet, it's coming :)
HYPED :)
AMAZING!!! Already sub for more)
+Jeka Selivanov thanks!
Where'd you learn to do all this stuff?
Hundreds of tutorials over the years, and even more hours spent playing around working on my own films :)
What programs do you use?
I use After Effects CC 2015, Premiere Pro 2015, Blender 3D 2.76b, Photoshop CC 2015, Brickr, and Bricksmith.
That's unfortunate the Lego Logos were CG and not real.
Hopefully you couldn't tell until you saw the breakdown; at least that's the idea :)
No this is Forrestfire 101's Suicide Squad in Lego! 😡😡
Yep! This is a breakdown of some of the VFX work I did for his production.
Oh ok... Good job then :)
Thanks :) You'll have to check out some of my other LEGO stop motion films, I think you may like them!
Awesome!!
