Fiat met with Trump , and now they agree to put Truck plant in OH and the Durango in MI . Imagine that. Pretty good for “Scab”, wouldnt you say, Fain?

I don't see how shutting down 19 Facilities at Stellantis is a win for UAW. Thirteen years of paying dues for a Union that sold me out for contract so Shawn Fain could say they did something. The UAW can't be trusted under Fain.

It’s not Fain’s fault Stellantis is mismanaged.

@jacobr5627 it's fains fault that he allowed the closures to be put into the hourly contract and didn't tell the members so a honest vote could be done.

@DennisSleiman I am so sorry you're laid off at a time like this. I hope you get back to work soon.

@ thank you. I am ok but there is a lot of people out there that are suffering from all of this. It’s not right. We as members need to vote on everything, it’s a majority decision between the members. Stellantis has dealt us a bad hand but our leadership has allowed them to do this. Merry Christmas! I will be fine. It’s everyone else that I worry about.

@@DennisSleiman My husband is also a member of the uaw, he works at the Warren Truck plant in Warren, Michigan. He isn't on a lay off right now but was laid off a few times in the last few months. We lost our home in August and are still staying in a motel with our 26 and 17 year old sons. He's been trying to pay back a small loan he took out on his 401k a few months ago. He was trying to take money out of the 401k for hardship but he was told it doesn't qualify as hardship.
We're going to get through this somehow but won't be getting help from the company he has given the last almost 30 years to. BTW I thought UAW members voted on contracts and other issues that affect their jobs?

Fain , you didn’t mention your failed campaigning for Kamala Harris for 4 straight months. We’ll remember that when you start your campaign to stay UAW president.

50,000 jobs lost under Shawn Fain......

If Fain supported Trump & Trump was the president then you probably would be pretending it’s not happening. You probably like Trump because of cultural issues and/or his personality so you’re working backwards from that conclusion in order to defend him from anyone who dares to criticise him.

@@jacobr5627I don't see how Trump has anything to do with this at this point.

@@jenn1388 I’m used to the accounts who criticize Shawn Fain under UAW posts being Trump’s super fans. However, to address your point without mentioning the big orange man, the union has limited control over outsourcing, or the products of the companies they represent not selling. They have fought to keep the Stellantis Belvidere Plant open but there is only so much they can do.

    • @jacobr5627

@@jenn1388 Most of the criticism of Fain I've seen from UAW members are people who are mad he doesn't like Trump.
