Its insane to me how they continue to tease new content while struggling to bring out the content they promised month bevore....
If you're expecting Center to release before scorched earth, dont. Priority is to the mtx pack for SE right now and even the volunteer reps for Ark like GP(who is also a youtuber) have said its delayed until at the very least May. Likely it wont drop then either given SE map is likely going to be delayed at this rate too and they'd not switch back over priority and implement it so quick. So, the best thing to say is, consider the center on indefinite hold until you see it drop.
Apparently the center was contracted to a different studio who lied about how far along they were on the map or something
@@penguinsrockrgr8yt216I don’t think they lied, they’re just not as fast as expected and maybe wildcard was to hopeful they could finish it in time.
These release dates Wildcard releases and can’t keep up with, maybe purely for investors as they want to see new revenue opportunities continually being developed, and they don’t care as much when things are delayed, as much as the community does as the investors get money out of it either way.
If you were there from the start, like the very start. Everyone was named Bob bc it was the default character's name, so when jumping into a server, a lot of people didn't change the name. Which the later turned into calling people Bob's when a noob joined the server. I'm surprised nooblets doesn't know this.

Really? You have never encounted a Bob? In the early days Bob and Jane where the default names you could create, and then that termed the phrase Beach Bob. You have been playing Ark all these years and you never encounter a Bob or Jane... Now that is Funny :P
I think "Bob" refers to "beach bob", as in what you are when you first spawn in. So they're saying it's a mentor figure who was a beach bob a long time ago before you. Supposedly. I think...

Thats EXACTLY what they are referring to. And it dates WAY bak to initial release the default name was Bob.

The Bob reference does have to being with a “beach bob” but that all came from the early days of ASE. Where if you didn’t customize a character at all even the name. You would be given the name Bob, so a lot of newbs that didn’t care to customize anything were bobs. Hence why the animated series looks like the bare bone male character model.
Just not enough new content to justify my time playing, let alone the money I spent buying the game again.
I’m off to continue securing freedom and democracy in Helldivers. Sorry ark, work harder.
Bob is the name of the character from the animated series. He introduces himself as Bob in the trailer for the series. I assume that he taught Helena the basics of survival on the island
The Character was a reference to the original default name being bob. And lots of people didnt bother to name their character thus there being alot of naked bob's lying on the beach.

Given the pictures of their plans for the different adventure packs, its likely part of those dlc/microtransactions so I'd be willing to bet those lore notes will be paywalled with it. You'd think 2 weeks out from Scortched Earth release, they'd do more than just throw that artwork pic too. Im willing to bet the map is going to be delayed.
Your disdain for WC or Nitrado or Snail Games has you coming off as a bitter cynic that is not entertaining interesting to listen to, like you used to be. There are multiple people on the server I play called Bob, right now. It's a game. If you do not like it or the company, don't play it. You used to have the absolute best videos. They were objective, factual, and entertainingly funny.

This ‘dinosaur game’ has literally had dragons, giant spiders the size of a house, and giant monkeys the same size or larger since release.
God you have become so bitter I think you should take a step back from ark content and ask yourself if this is what you still want to do. Your content has been great for the years I have been watching but I find it so hard to get through a video that's just negative from the 20 second mark.

I think Bob "Send Bobs BTW" I think Bob is more of a fan Player added a cameo. Kinda like World of Warcraft would sometimes have their players character an official NPC.

So my question on ASA is this... if you went to a restaurant for years... LOVED it... but they closed down to do a remodel. When they re-opened, you were first in line looking to see the new bells and whistles, and it was gorgeous inside! Your meal arrives, and it looks delicious.. but with ever bite you take, you taste something odd, or crunchy. You lift up your plate and roaches crawl out from under it. So.. now to my question... would you ever go back? I LOVED ASE, bugs and all. ASA promised so much, but they continue to over promise and under deliver. I spent money hosting servers from Nitrado, then spent more money and time following your tutorial on hosting my own servers (All for my community - I have never charged anyone to play on my servers) so that I could be ready for The Center.. and then SE. WC pulled The Center at the last min (with no date for release given) and now we have an already delayed SE. Will I cover it? Im a content creator, and like a food critic, I'll likely stop in again. But if I find roaches under the plate again, Im done.
I love how it just feels like you've given up completely. The whole tone mirrors exactly how I feel. I've moved past anger, found a new game, and am solidly into apathy. Whether or not Ark turns it around and succeeds or fails as we all anticipate, I'm done caring for a good long while.

Oh and on console, they made is so the default resolution is less than native, and you can only change it with console commands. 😂 it can make things look janky asf, and contributes to crashes and weird textures.

I think the car will be dropping with Extinction. I feel like it makes a lot of sense to do it that way. There's a desert with paths and a city to drive around in.

On time sure but at all is kinda crazy, game released in October and so far we’ve had: Christmas Event, Valentines event, Gigantoraptor, Sotf and Scorched and the Center are around the corner alongside the animated series

so is there a way to find out who is on a server in ark asa? logged in and female character was at my base stealing stuff from my work benches. unfortunately some of them don't lock. so been being robbed for a bit. had no clue they didn't lock. good thing is only they were on and myself so admin can track that. time for new server.

I was really hopeful this was going to be a PvE gametype that makes ark into a borderlands type game
Also just wanna point out that most of the content in the picture seems to be paid side content. Like the Oasisaur, the cowboy outfit and the train stuff. The steampunk outfit and air balloon will probably be paid just like the madmax looking outfit and the trike car will also be. Its all just an ad to make players buy their shitty P2W dlc packs (because yeah, its P2W since Scorched Earth includes the Oasisaur). Very glad I stayed clear of ASA
