i love how the season 2 finale is one of the most normal episodes of Regular Show and a pretty consequential and stressful one as Mordo and Rigs try to not let that tape play in front of their friends leading up to an absolutely hysterical fist fight while Pops was singing footloose (not to mention Muscle man drinking a gravy pouch)
They didn’t expect for this to be the most normal episode which I imagine doesn’t really happen a lot.
You've probably been informed, but The First Day episode is the Pilot Episode for the show but given new scenes in between the old footage, hence the switch between old and new animation style. The added scenes are, not in order, My Mom joke, the whole first sequence until the breakfast bit, Mordecai feeling the chair, and them deciding how to rock, paper, scissors. I might missed some.
The finale, the Karaoke episode, Legendary. The sequence of Pops singing while a bar fight is in motion would always be shown in almost every ad break.

I love seeing the original pilot incorporated into the show and seeing how much the animation and voices changed! I remember being obsessed with the pilot before the show premiered and had my mind blown when I realized they reused it for The First Day. Regular Show was my hyper fixation for years when it first premiered and I’m so glad you guys have been loving it! Cant wait to see your reactions to later episodes!
I just love the karaoke fight scene! One of the most iconic scenes ever in Regular Show. I can never stop laughing when Pops just punched that one guy and just kept singing 😂
Next week, one of the first four episodes of season 3 is the first Halloween special of the show. Also, the most tame episodes of Regular Show are when there's a big brawl in the climax.

The skunk episode originally had a different ending and some minor changes to events, but went the same way the aired episode went for the most part.
2:15 Yooo That’s actually crazy 😂 I have been watching regular show for the longest time and just now am I realizing that Pops was actually correct about the magic trash city! Later on in the series there is an episode where Rigby throws away his trampoline bed and him and Mordecai have to retrieve it from a magical trash city where the objects thrown away have the ability to speak 😭 That was so cool of the writers to re-visit this idea from the very first episode

When you start Season 3, the Halloween special is 4 episodes in and it is a 2-parter, meaning it counts as episode 4 and 5. It is also out of order for some reason, meaning it can be confusing out of context. The correct order is "Creepy Doll/Death Metal Crash Pit", and then "In the House". I know I said this last week, but I'm just trying to help you guys out.

I dont know why the thought occurred for this episode, but I wonder if they'd be willing to watch Danny Phantom in the future. It is on prime, you just have to pay to see the season finale. Because for whatever reason Amazon has the seasons for free, but took all the finale and 2 or 3 parters out.

another fact: originally, the show was gonna be about park workers working in a human zoo exhibit, hence why we see cages when skips and benson are in the cart, but was cut for possibly bein a little too morbid for a show, so it’s jus a normal park instead

Imo, karaoke is pretty cool, as long as it has a good setting. If it’s one of those on stage competitions at festivals or something, it’s all good.
The only bad thing I can find is if some people put their lips on the mic and the place doesn’t clean it.
Imagine thinking its a good idea to swing on skips couldn't be me.
In the internet episode, them making RUclips videos for money wouldn't work because this show is set in 2004 or 2005 and RUclips didn't start paying anyone untill December of 2007

12:00 whats funny is at the time of this ep youtube was like what? 2010-2012 so at avg youtube was only 4-6 years old. many of those viral videos many of the youtubers are ashamed of it. either say they regret it or stay very silent if someone brings it up like dont want to get reminded. timing wise twitch also started and was pretty much the gold rush years where ppl did stupud things to make bank fast and alot of those early recorded streams and still on here like exm sodapoppin.
if ppl unfamiliar: one of the oldest twitch streamers for world of warcraft during cataclysm and mists of pandaria years that gain ALOT of rep mainly bad ones. he did alot of dump stunts on stream, crass remarks on ppl with stories he tell, and the works for a kid at the time that dropped out of college to focusing streaming. in gold rush terms he was definiton of a fools gold digger.
that rep became cemented that he cant grow much anymore since alot of ppl will remember him for those. even now with him kinda host but investor for otk show (yep that one if know of it in recent years) career wise he cant grow with those old videos/clips then and stuff he did over the years left a permanent stain on him. so the ai lady here isnt wrong on how much those stuff can be a curse to the person and again this episode came out around 2011. and not just soda for sure youtubers like pewdiepie, filthy frank (now joji) and such for sure regretted those videos and its a permanent stain to them too.

I could be wrong but I don't think Mordecai and Rigby are actually animals. I don't think Skips is a yeti. I think the writers/animators made them animals to show how eccentric they are compared to everyone else in the world. I don't think it's ever mentioned in the show that Mordecai is a blue jay or that Rigby is a raccoon or that Margaret is a red robin. So i think it's just visual thing. But, the only thing that disproves my theory is that they do acknowledge in the show that Benson has gumballs.
