    I’ve just moved to Royal Arsenal Riverside development from Canary. I pay the same price for a two bed I did in canary for a studio and have a pool/gym/sauna/cinema plus a gorgeous view of the Thames. Now I just need the Elizabeth line to open and it’ll be lush. If anyone wants CW lifestyle but looking for a more decent price then I recommend that. I think it’s about 10-15min to get to CW from royal riverside.

    • @AmberJays
      @AmberJays 4 месяца назад

      Yeah it is actually quite good value, especially so for the privacy. You could save some money and try to find a room share for about £1k a month (purposefully excluding the ultra cheap places because they're not even inhabitable lol), but it will just be a bedroom that you'd be renting while having shared facilities.
      Then there will be others who might try suggesting being on the outskirts to save on rent prices, but if you're in and out of the city centre on a frequent basis you'll be spending a fair amount on travel plus time spent travelling.

    You didn’t have a 10 minute long intro.

    You highlighted the good features and the bad ones.
    You shared the cost with us.

    I suppose that's London for you. £1.6k is a lot of money even including the other amenities you showed.
    Cinema room? Rather watch a movie in private in my lounge unless it's something in the cinema that I really want to see. Gym? Yeah okay, but I have a gym down the road and the price per month isn't that bad. Business lounge? Rather sit in my office for business stuff.
    But I guess it's what people prefer and what not. I like my own company (and my girlfriend too) and really don't think I'd use any of those other spaces.
    But good on you both for comfortably being able to afford that price and being content with it!

    HI PHIL IMPORTANT: I'm thinking of moving into a new complex in the same district so any help would be AMAZING! How
    thick are the walls? Can you hear next door speaking or the people upstairs walking? Also is pipe work not connected? I mean when your next door runs a tap can you hear it or not? I would think at the rent price in a modern building this is not an issue but you never know! Please answer if possible thanks all the best.

    Where you live should make you feel content and secure. You cannot put a price on that. I lived in your area until 2019 as my career path took me to Canada. (I am an American) Lanark Square was a great experience and for all its ups and downs I truly enjoyed much of what to London had to offer. A 5 minute walk to Crossharbour, Asda or Tesco. Plenty of spaces to get out and run. A pint at The George was also a highlight. My commute to London proper was not as bad for me as I do not work a traditional schedule. April 2021 finds Ottawa getting back to normal. I commute from right over the border in Quebec and many nights I would be stopped by the police for being out after curfew. Thankfully my diplomatic passport solved that problem after a week or so. Summer is upon us and you are a young man living in a great section of London. Keep on Keeping on and enjoy the moment. Thankfully I can still watch Pointless on RUclips,
