Olya if you are interested to meet Chef RV Manabat in person it's so easy once you plan to visit Philippines just make an arrangement that you want to visit him personally, he has a big restaurant in his hometown and only 1 1/2 hour drive from Manila. He's a good guy and so kind and hospitable person.

Hi Olya! You are very good in following Filipino recipes, and that looks so delicious! Just want to say that they are actually not pancakes. Pancakes are thicker and have more flour and leavening agent for them to be fluffy and for them to rise. These are called crêpes and it’s based from French cuisine. Filipino love them! As you noticed, the batter is purposely thinner just like French crêpes. Crepes are very versatile, and you can make them in a variety of ways. We Filipinos also love crêpes Suzette and you can search the recipe in the Internet. They are individually stuffed with mangos or canned peaches and rolled individually. Sliced canned peaches (drained) are great alternative if you cannot find sweet Philippine mangoes. The rolled Crepe Suzette are placed neatly in a rectangular glass Pyrex dish and then you pour the cream on top, and decorate. Refrigerate it and after an hour or two you have a delicious cold dessert! Same principle but different presentation. Looking forward to more of your vlogs! ❤️

Wow i really surprised me to see that your using that kind of mango for your recipe. Because in here we call that Apple Mango variety and we don't normally eat that ripe or used as cooking ingredients because it taste like medicine like cough syrup when ripen we only eat only the unripened one deep in salt or mix in kinilaw. Philippine mango really is the best.❤

If your going in the Philippines there is a particular kind of sweet mango that use for baking Mango cake but for now since you don't have that kind of mango it's better to be creative. The most important is the cake taste like what you watch in Chef Manabat video. I know you did it.
I notice that most Russian love to eat during breakfast is bread or cakes and for drink it's tea not coffee. That is why most of Russian girl are slim and sexy because you don't eat rice.
Bread is almost the same as rice. Cakes are way higher in calories and glycerin index us very high. Rice eaten with protein is healthier.

We Filipinos love to borrow other country's cuisines and adapt the taste to ours. Pancake cake (crepes) is borrowed from the French I think. For pairings, we have banana and chocolate, too. Mango and chocolate fudge is also delicious. With something crunchy like ground cashew nuts.
