Mike Brey did one heck of a job with this ND team, a team left for dead after Christmas as it tried to find some identity. Brey pushed all the right buttons and got just about all he could out of this team.
Alabama had 8 days off also losing 3 straight games coming into this game. They were clearly not IN TUNED for a March Madness mindset to win this game. Good season btw . Congratulations ✌🏼

I hate march madness superstitions, including the First Four. Apparently since 2012, every other time or the occurring year a team out of the First Four always advances to the Sweet 16 and beyond. You could make out of UCLA from last year as an example. It’s just unfortunate the team was against Alabama, because I’m not a fan but I truly do think they would shut up people about being overrated because they beat Gonzaga. Now Gonzaga has an easy path to the 4.

i saw an interesting comment from nate oats, said only one player showed up to voluntary shoot around yesterday (quinnerly) and only three showed up to shoot around today (ellis, quinnerly, shakelford) not saying if the team would have came they would have won but i think that shows the overall attitude of the team this year. they beat baylor, gonzaga, ut, and houston so the talent was there i guess just not the mentality
