On the final day of GRGR 2021, the challenge was to run as many miles as you could. I decided it'd be a perfect day to take on the Snoqualmie Valley Trail project - 31 miles, end to end, of beautiful gravel path through forests, farms and fun. I ran it No F#%ks Style and loved every second - well, until my legs figured out there weren't any mountains! Hope you enjoy some No F$cks Adventures!
No F$cks runs are the best runs. Even my races are no f$uck runs these days. I'm just out there enjoying the day and praying for it to be over so i can go home and have a cold beer ;-) Well done on getting out and getting it done. Loving seeing Gus looking well too ;-)
Thank you thank you thank you for once again showing us different options for running. I definitely want to do another ultra but I hate racing, it stresses me out way to much. This is such a great way to still go for the long distances without all the pressure and stress. Appreciate all you and Kim do for this community!! Really enjoyed the film.
I am so happy finding people, with whom I have same feelings about training and racing. Racing means too much stress for me without any serious reason.
A Simple but overlooked idea sometimes. That’s why running initially hooked me, before caring about strava segments and any competition. Glad I watched this - a good reminder.
Love this Ethan! "old timey footage" is hilarious. As a dad of 4 I've been embracing not giving a f#$% in all of my endeavors and taking the pressure off myself. Thanks for sharing your journey. 👍
This is beautiful. I have been training seriously for only about 2 years. I've run a bunch of these NF adventures, but never one single actual race. I run kitchens for a living so I'm always at work when the racers are out racing. I have done training blocks with my own made up "race day", fastest time attempts on my favorite routes, and long efforts on never before explored routes. I love it! I have a new term now. Thank you!
This was fantastic! I used to do the same thing from New York. Metro North to Croton on Hudson, pick up the Croton Aqueduct trail, which is flat mud and gravel along 25miles back into NYC. Once I hit 242nd st in the Bronx I’d either get carrot cake at Lloyds and hop on the 1 train home, or keep rolling south to whatever subway stop I felt- NO FKS STYLE! The trail was similar to this, lots of towns to get water in. Thanks for inspiring the reminiscing!
Absolutely awesome. It is a throwback to what brought me to the channel originally. I love these self shot videos where you explore a local trail or trail network. Love the Project runs with no pressure. I've been transitioning to some of those. A couple of my project runs are section J of the PCT and the timberline trail around Mt. Hood. Hoping to knock those out this summer!
@@TheGingerRunner I like the use of the term "project runs" - makes it fun because many of us as runners are constantly learning and exploring and that - to me - is what it's all about!
Yet another great video Ethan. 13:30 Reminds me of the quote by Naval Officer John Collins (co inventor of Ironman Triathlon) “You can quit if you want, and no one will care. But you will know the rest of your life" That's why you didn't stop. That's why you got to that abandoned lot.
OOOOO! Love the Snoqualmie Valley trail! I run there a lot for some nice long FLAT runs! So beautiful in the fall too! Fun watching this and seeing all the familiar sights! Way to go!! Great job!
Love the "no f**ks" mentality. Needed this today as I'm heading out on my first training run in preparation for my first ultra in May (100km). I'm doing a 20km section in a couple of days and after watching this, I will be giving it the "no f**ks" treatment! Cheers buddy!
Thank you so much for letting us join you for those last miles it was an honor, even if the 28' of vert almost killed me... 🤣 You are awesome and your storytelling never fails to inspire me. And kudos to Kim and Gus, for being such an amazing crew! Hattie also approves this message and thanks you for her screen debute. 🐶💙 No F$cks, FTW! 🥳
this is awesome.., and you are totally correct with the venn (is that right) diagram analogy . I did one of these a few years ago.. with a goal in mind, but also had a reach goal, that was a bit longer. I had a great time.. glad you enjoyed this run.
For some reason I could only give this one thumbs up when I wanted to give it 50k upvotes. Such a good video on so many different levels!!! "Gorgeous trail from beginning to end . . . well, not end. It's just a abandoned f***in concrete parking lot but it fits the title of the event". All jokes aside it looks amazing. I'll need to try out some of this trail soon.
Ethan, I find you funny in general, but your NFs attitude and snark in this one makes this one of the funniest (and one of my favorite) videos you've ever done. Smiling and laughing out loud over here as I watch. (At 4:30, I lost it. Got me good.) Good on you, brother.
I've always loved the race videos the most because Ethan is so good with his cinematography and story telling. Hope there are some videos where you return to previous races and talk about how things have changed since you first ran them.
Following your personal goals and dreams without fear of failure or the negativity of others perfectly summed up by this run and it's title. Loved every second of it Ethan. You and Kim rock. x
Great video! I love this idea of a 'no f*cks run'. I missed out on some races this year and something like this is exactly what I need to get out and do. No pace, no time, just get it finished.
Watching your videos over the years, has inspired me to finish several marathons and an Ironman. When I was stationed in Japan training for the Tokyo marathon, I used to listen to your music jams and they really helped me tap into my inner self and release. Great having you back GR!!!
Love this video! So well put together! You had some very solid jokes. I lol’d multiple times. The music was also very well done. Bravo! Angela laughing in every clip near the end is super as well. 👏👏👏👏
All of your videos are great, but I love these old school GR videos. That’s what got me into your channel. It’s inspiring me to do a No F&cks 50k before the end of the year. (It’s been since 2/2020 since my last ultra.) And I was super happy to hear some new music on this one. Except for the chip crunching, loved this video! 😆 Thank you!
Have really missed your running video's which made so many of us begin following you years ago and provided inspiration to try running farther than I ever dreamed I could and have held on hoping to get back to the Ginger " Runner " content . The last couple of years have been tough to get out and run after a torn meniscus root repair surgery then total knee replacement, but have finally started feeling comfortable to start adding mileage and get myself back out on the trails again .
Loved everything about this...your outlook, the way you described the run, they way you appreciated your crew :) , your music, the way you saw a chair and barely edited the video with 'chair' in text...just fantastic. Well done, sir.
I find since Covid-19 and less events happening and going on these running adventures on the backroads and in the backcountry are the best in your own backyard exploring is just so much more fun than “training and racing”. This run looks sooo beautiful. Amazing.
Just ran part of this last week. Definitely remember the yellow stairs at the bridge and on the road side, thankfully it wasn’t very long. Hope to see you on trail sometime!
Been watching your content for a few years now, and just moved to the Seattle area from Kentucky. Epic to see all of the places you run in Washington in person and I can’t wait to do some of these trails myself. Keep up the great content man 🤙🏻
Loved this. Been wanting to get back into running for a while but just not had the motivation. Will likely watch this multiple times over the next few days to find what I need to get back out.
Love the attitude here! Races are great and worth building into the experience, but no reason the real adventure isn't your own creation. Congrats on a fresh take of a well deserved ultra completion
This was awesome! I was just coming over to visit to look for a shoe review and stumbled on this No F$cks 50k!! Doing my first 50k Feb 24. This was so inspiring to watch!! Love love love!! And absolutely beautiful trail!
Absolutely fantastic Ethan! I am doing a totally random 50 miler in Sedona for my 50th and I shall now call it the No f given Sedona. I live in PDX , have never been to Sedona, not exactly sure I can actually complete 50 miles so I feel this name is perfect. I have been a fan for a long time. Keep up the great work.
Very cool...still watching. What shoes are you wearing? Hokas? Okay, done watching. Really enjoyed this. Isn't this why most of us run when it comes down to it? Running makes us feel alive. Huge thumbs up!
I haven’t ran for a couple of weeks, been feeling a bit low.. watching this has kinda inspired me to load up the best and head out tomorrow morning on my own “no f&cks” adventure.

When does the next album drop?
These are my favorite kind of video
We gotta collab one of these days!
Loved this. No f*cks is my kinda vibe.
Old timey music on point! Another Ginger classic! 🤜🏻🤛🏻
The O.G of RUclips running videos! Nice work man. Beautiful!

This is wholesome as f@€k, when you run in the No £€%&’s given zone it really brings you back to why we run.
Thanks for the idea. Gonna make may own No fucks next weekend. NF half marathon.:)
Needed this awesomesauce today. Thanks for the fun journey along with you. AND WAS THAT NEW MUSIC I HEARD!! WAHOO!!! 🥳
Honestly, this just makes me happy.
A Simple but overlooked idea sometimes. That’s why running initially hooked me, before caring about strava segments and any competition. Glad I watched this - a good reminder.
Great video ! Even the finish line gave No F$%KS!
No f*cks adventures are the best! Congrats on completing your 50km!
This is what running is all about.
Awesome! Thank you for great inspiration, both in running more and making more running films. 😃
More no-f**cks-style, please! 😃
you got it!
Free you mind, great way of thinking Ethan...I love your spirit... greetings from a Greek friend 👍👏
Fantastic! Love the concept of a No F$cks Adventure!!
I've been doing lots of these adventures and I get asked why? a lot, I have a better answer now Thanks for sharing!
America is such a naturally beautiful country!
Loved this film, good stuff Ethan
Favorite part: Gus and Hattie.
Second favorite part: your positivity and humor.
It was awesome to follow your journey! Thanks for sharing!
Love this Ethan! "old timey footage" is hilarious. As a dad of 4 I've been embracing not giving a f#$% in all of my endeavors and taking the pressure off myself. Thanks for sharing your journey. 👍
What a beautiful place to run, I would love to run there everyday
Well done Ginger Runner. Another great video.. very inspirational.
Congrats on the finish! Great video!
Love a no f*cks adventure! Just you and the trail (and as always the supporting loving crew that makes it possible).

Thoroughly enjoy your running vids
That really is a beautiful trail. Great video, great idea
This might be the best version of Ethan yet. Love this energy.

Brilliant idea and well done on completing it.

Thank you for the inspiration Ethan. Looking for a new to me trail now to do my very one No F's 50k!!
Missed these awesome GR movies…. This one did not disappoint and I loved the content!
I did not expect this to be as inspiring as it was. Thanks, Ethan; this was beautiful
