I always love the "I'm running my line" response. You can be running your line but if you come up on a slower car that is in your line, you do not have the right to ram them. I raced pretty fast go karts for a while back in the 80's and heard this same, lame excuse. If you are running 2nd in a race, chances are the guy running 1st is "in your line" but you can't ram him. Geeze.
So many people want to just simply drive off the end of their nose and not see whats going on around and in front of them from the cockpit you could see the 19 come into view and start to move up at which point the 9 had to also move up. A little awareness would have prevented the three from driving over him lol

In real racing I have two basic instincts high on my priority list: not getting injured or killed,and not causing massive financial and physical damage to anyone or anything. You get absolutely none of that in iRacing.
I mean he was at 199, slowed down to 182 or so and then when he hit him he was at 172 so he did slow down. He definitely wasn't speeding up when he hit him.
He never gains speed if you look at his MPH, he maintains, so essentially he did pick up the gas to maintain, and didnt hit brake until after he hit the 9

Just curious for someone that claimed to be so innocent that the audio had him gasing it up to hit the 9 slam & everyone else's replay showed him doing the same. Derrick Babcock Speeds aren't realistic when looking at someone else's POV in the replay, randomly generated, just like gears, its for the competition. Nobody wants their gears and setup spilled out over a replay to their competition. Plus No one goes 200 at Atlanta... Especially in turn 4

It's to protect his rim. They are very expensive (I know because I have one and wear gloves) and if you want any resale value you wear gloves. Also if you don't wear gloves with that kind of material you get the material stuck on your hands if/when they become sweaty. Lastly wear gloves because it feels good if you are doing any endurance racing. hands won't get fatigued.

The 9 car checked up that's what caused the 3 to run over the 9. The 19 divebombs the 9, the 9 checks up and the 3 runs him over.
