- In this video I will show you how to make an origami petunia flower, designed by Ujang Karnadi.
The Mayan and Incas believed that petunias have the power to chase away with their odor the underworld monsters and spirits. Their flower-beds were bunched together for magical drinks. According to the narrative, petunias cannot thrive in place of strong negative energy.
To make this origami flower of petunia, I use 20cm *20cm square of paper, then I cut it into a pentagon. This is really a beautiful flower, the base is simple but the shaping is a little bit hard. Good luck and happy folding :)

Haces demasiado rápido los dobleces, lo peor es que tus mano y dedos tapan qué es lo que haces o cómo doblas el papel. Lástima porque tu trabajo es muy bonito y luce bien pero no hay manera de replicarlo

What is wrong with Cutting the paper? if you dont want to cut it just fold it, and hide the unused paper underneath. It is Origami, as long as using one sheet of paper, it is still Origami. Sometimes we use pentagon, hexagon, rectangle even triangle. not only square. . .
Sometimes Eric Joisel use Rectangle, David Brill use triangle, tessellation origamist most of them using hexagon. . . even Robert lang use Pentagon. . . Usually a pro not cutting the unused paper(square paper), but hide the unsude paper underneath the paper,
