Our Convent school tried to make ladies out of us girls with us becoming debutantes, making I’m us organize charity events and having various balls but we were far too wild and willful at 16! My grandfather gave me this gorgeous little book called “The Art of Etiquette “ written in the 20s when I was about 13 and my grandmother would always tell me how at boarding school they would be made to walk with books on their heads and brooms through each elbow behind their back’s.Only later in life did I realize the value of being refined and polished. I try harder now, particularly with posture but I think my core is nonexistent at this point 🙈
this is awesome! i hope they teach how to clean, how to take care of children, how to cook, how balance the books and how to live on spending on as little as possible, every woman needs to know those things
