Often times as a reader we miss the subtle details in the scripture. The story of the bleeding woman is not merely about getting healed through faith- she is the model of a true disciple.
Using words very specifically and intentionally Mark, through the Holy Spirit, shows the stunning parallels between Jesus and the woman portraying how closely she is identified with her Lord. The same theme is also found throughout Paul's letter- encouraging the believers to identify with the Lord both in his suffering and ressurection.
