you should use multiple out folders (which is why they make you set it multiple times), overlay the frames of each keyframe render zone by how long you want your overlap to be, then smooth transition between each one to hide both the jitter and blend the frames smoothly between each other.
Even then the result is not smooth. That's why ebsynth is given for free. And when the animation breaks, even if slightly, the focus of the audience shifts from the story to the outside ie animation. That's when the story fails.
@@Privolti have you seen rotoscoped animation? Even before ebsynth there's been jitter and an uncanny feeling. It's the artist's job to use that constraint in order to make a good product. Joel Haver's animations are great because he follows how old rotoscoping worked, using the silhouettes to make interesting characters and the more human-like uncannyness and artifact-y-ness of the scene to portray a more satirical tone in his bits. You know they are normal people in costumes being animated over. That's the point.
can you do an updated version of this tutorial with any new ai tools that are available to make this effect easier?? this is great! im a huge fan of your vids!
I just discovered your channel because of this video , which I love, but quickly realised this is primarily a C4D channel. I had a look at he other videos and I really really love your 3D work too. Your style just appeals to me. Unfortunately, I know virtually nothing about about 3D. So until you bring out some C4D masterclasses, which I will rush out to buy, hopefully so that some of your style will rub off on me, I will watch all your other videos on here. Liked and subbed. Greetz from France and Merry Christmas.
Turns out they didn't just de-age Will Smith for Gemini Man - they pretty much started over from scratch. The young version is completely 3D computer-generated and rendered, with the only part that's really Will Smith being the motion capture and voice data. They didn't even use a double and stick the young face on him - everything, even the clothes are CG.
i wont lie am new here and your tutorials are a bit better than the most especially the transforming shoes tut people dont really show their big stuff they teach the basics but some how you get a bit deep! and yes XD am taking a liking on your Girl she is Krazy in a nice way XD! keep up the good Work Fam!
Thank you so much. But I am facing this problem currently. I had been able to do it correctly 2-3 times. But when I now click on 'Export to AE', i am receiving an error message on AE saying - "Unable to execute script at line 5. After Effects error. Unable to set "displayStarttime". Value 98480.02 out of range -10800 to 86400." PLEASE HELP. What do I do? Surprisingly it doesnt show when I make the frame rate 30 fps. But then the video plays faster than the audio clip/ becomes out of sync.
Hi Sean. Your tutorials are always so detailed and fun to follow. Thanks a lot. May I ask if you can ever do a tutorial on face and character modeling in Cinema 4D?
I was thinking of doing this myself and see if it works, i am glad u did this haha its also nice to know that faceapp has a constant algorithm. Nice job sean
Super cool! I am working on a more stylized effect at the moment, but didn’t even think of using this for aging! I wonder if you could do digital makeup too? Something subtle, or al the way up to full clown makeup! Lol
I do not understand it, I have a resolution of 1080 × 1920, I have looked at a lot of RUclipsrs and tried out the setting garden and for a day myself, but every time it blurs again and again when others do that in tutorials they do not press start and it If everything works, everything looks clean, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong
I would be interested in a description of all parameters and their effects. I haven't found it anywhere on the net, even EbSynth is silent about it. I have not yet been able to achieve a usable result with EbSynth (and FaceApp).
1. Take a video clip 2. Convert the frames into individual image files 3. "Oldify" a few of the images with FaceApp 4. Blend between the handful of "old" images using the motion from the original video, essentially "animating" the old-looking images using EBSynth 5. Turn the sequence of images back into a proper video, put the sound back in, and fade in from the original video to the "oldified" one
Thanks for your video. I'm very disappointed with cinema 4d some features not working well. I think now I choose the right software for animation. MY Problem is " I Need to show the cross-section of some engineering model, I'm using Boole on c4d. but not working well. I am searching for a solution but nothing found on the internet. Why this happened. I Need to show car cross-section view how this possible in cinema 4d. Please help me. I'm so much disappointment and so much confused with cinema 4d issues." Note: In Blender cross-section view animation work seamlessly without any issues.
Hi! I don´t know if this helps you but, Fusion 360 has a very nice cross-section tool, it´s from the Autodesk Family and it´s easy to export, you can search tutorials on UTube, its a very friendly software btw
P.D.H. Hey mate! Try setting up a photoshop file to the correct resolution, import your keyframes, scale them accordingly then re-save. Let me know how you go!
if it's for testing, you can lower the quality. For example I did 2mb per image, you can easily lower that, especially if you gonna crop or mask it add effects
I finished the tutorial. I didn't have any problems. Maybe you pressed 'run all' instead of synth? I pressed synth and added to AE and it works. Maybe your path is too long, try coping the project to c root

awesome .....many ebsynth video not clear something problems comes ......this one very understanding thanks
Next step, render overlapping frames and dissolve between them to get rid of jerky frames. Also, its not AI but, probably, motion estimation.
Thank you, amazing video showcase and tutorial. Best video out there, hands down.

You should overlap the Stops so everything blends together, avoiding the sudden facial detail changes.
This is damn insane. I totally fall in love with this.

What kind of Mac do you have
Thank you for this awesome video! :) God bless!
So this can only be downloaded onto a phone? (the software)? and it has to be exported from AE?
FaceApp is phone-based (actually, cloud-based, but they only have phone apps) and EbSynth is PC or Mac free software (I think open-source).

Ebsynth is not an ai software if we believe the maker of the software
Why can't Marvel And Disney do this in 2023???
damn
EbSynth is not A.I..
Just a well created algoritm in a sourcecode.

Ebsynth has nothing to do with A.I.
AI has nothing to do with real AI... And it does have something to do with what we call AI currently
