  • Another thing I forgot to mention is when Courtney says and I paid them to do it. It was the fake story about her being suicidal. Yikes!

I appreciate your honesty and willingness to talk about this subject openly. Most people just dismiss it as a "conspiricy theory" and close their minds. OR those who were there at that time are too afraid of CL to speak up. So thank you!

Cali won't come forward because that would mean he'd go to jail. Same with Jessica Hopper, his girlfriend who was also living there at the time. The fact that these two were THERE, IN THE HOUSE, WHEN KURT DIED, and were NEVER questioned by the police, is insane.
A few years ago an Irish journalist asked Jessica Hopper what happened regarding Kurt's death, but she refused to answer. The journalist kept pressing her, tried to get her to talk, and Jessica got REALLY angry and the interview was shut down. Why get so defensive, unless of course you're hiding something?

Maybe a true case of "thou doest protest too much"? And nobody heard a shotgun blast? Im not much of a gun enthusiast but wouldnt a shotgun make enough noise to at least be heard inside the house, where there was at least two hanging out?
Yes that is insane not even questioning them, but then the officers were lead down the Courtney It's Suicide Garden Path. She probably thinks they're just a bunch of chumps.

As a fan, I was devastated when Kurt died. I was 21 years old and just starting my first band. I have to say that Hole was a huge influence on me, and I was compared to Courtney a lot. Mostly because a wailing woman fronting a rock band was in the spotlight at the time. I believed the suicide theory for years, and felt that their love was devastatingly romantic. I thought Courtney was being crucified for being a strong female, and I couldn't conceive of the idea that she had anything to do with Kurt's death. But as the rumours persisted I began to question her actions and motives. I watched several Tom Grant interviews and the shit she did and said just didn't add up. Soaked in Bleach solidified my suspicion. To hear her flippantly describe in her own voice the manipulative things she was doing around the time of Kurt's death makes the hair on my arms stand up. She is a cold, narcissistic psychopath whose only goal is to further her own ambitions. And she's fucking smart as fuck!!!!! Which is why she's so dangerous. She kept Dylan high so he didn't notice the things she was doing. And that piece of shit Cali was in on it. Kurt was tired of her dreama and was going to divorce her, which would detract from her fame, and her bank account. Luckily, I believe in Karma. Sometimes it takes years, but Courtney and Cali will get what they deserve. Thank u so much for sharing 🖤🖤🖤

I've had a similar 180 turn about Courtney. Although I wasn't a fan of her music- I still felt sorry for her as a woman, and believed she was a feminist icon. (I still believe that she is vilified for being a 'train wreck' in a way that male rockers aren't).
I now don't believe that she was a 'strong forceful woman'. I think she's a straight up dangerous sociopath. She's a user. She's scarily manipulative and calculating. I agree with everything you've said in your comment. Cali, Dylan- they were clearly in on it in some way.

Dillan also told me personally after Kurt died while we were on sunset smoking a bat late night after a shoot i was on,he was with two other people at the time.
He said right after the OD happened he spoke to Kurt as a friend and that Kurt reassured him he “hadn’t tried to kill himself”!
He told us “Kurt said he would never do that to Francis!”He said “Kurt swore to him” that he could never hurt himself and do that to Francis!”
Kurt didn’t lose anything but he was paranoid after that because he knew something wasn’t right!
    He told us that!
I swear we’ll never hear or see Cali again!

I noticed the IHOP comment too. Very suspicious. The placemat is made of thin paper similar to tracing paper, right?Even Rosemary Carroll said she thinks the note was a pastiche of things written in the past, and cobbled together and traced.
Also the numerous time she talks about divorce which is odd when she's supposedly concerned about her missing "suicidal" husband!

Hmmmm I thought I was the only one that picked up on that comment about the IHOP placemat? The one that Cour$ney spoke about on the movie, "Soaked In Bleach!" Tom Grant has her recorded as saying this. I am going to watch it again tonight as I feel like I missed something as well. Hmmmmmm....poor Kurt!! Something else that I don't understand is why Kurt didn't throw Cali & Jessica out of his house after returning from rehab? I mean it was Kurt's house and they were Cour$ney's friends not Kurts??? It seems like Kurt was afraid of Cour$ney and she manipulated him, used him, and basically did what the he$$ she wanted. She is one sick bi$ch and to think a junkie herself was entitled to call an intervention on someone who she mirrored??? The timing was also sickening and shows just how evil she really is. The intervention is called one day before Good Friday? She forces Kurt into rehab one day before Good Friday and then when Kurt decides to leave rehab that Friday evening she knows he's headed back to Seattle to the house. She plots to have him murdered which I believe was late Easter Sunday. Poor Kurt was a human sacrifice. Cour$ney got all his money and his child. I pray the truth will come out about her having Kurt murdered. Kurt deserves to have his name cleared especially for his daughter whom he dearly loved. 💖

It's funny that you mention Cali because he was my A&R at Capital records back in 95. I was sending him demos and stuff and very close to working out a deal. Then the "Who Killed Kurt Cobain" book and the "Kurt & Courtney" film came out and Cali mysteriously disappeared. What's more is that nobody at Capital that I spoke of would even admit that he had ever worked there. I didn't imagine it, I think I may still even have an envelope stamped return to sender unsolicited that I was trying to get to him. He had a hand in this. It spooks me until this day.

The last :52 seconds of this video is what I’ve been thinking daily for the past four years. Michael Cali Dewitt needs to be called out for his actions in the time of Cobain’s death. DNA and fingerprints of the evidence in this case need to be re examined. Kurt was not alone when his life ended up in that greenhouse.

    • @firstnamelastname4427
      @firstnamelastname4427 6 лет назад +17

May Wee I don't buy it. If Courtney was truly worried about Kurt and thought he was suicidal wouldn't she have told everyone--including Cali? Wouldn't Cali have told Kurt's wife where he was given that supposedly Kurt was suicidal and had gone missing? One would assume that everyone, especially Courtney, would have been worried sick. Why didn't Courtney immediately hightail it home if she was so concerned about Kurt? Why hire a private investigator and then continue to party it up in LA while your (supposedly) suicidal husband has gone missing from rehab? And why was Courtney more obsessed with the idea of catching Kurt cheating, even going so far as stalking his dealer Caitlyn instead of watching the house for Kurt? It's all suspect.

    • @djefferson5669
      @djefferson5669 6 лет назад +11

I think the time CL spent at the Peninsula hotel was her party time leading up to the release of her record. She had done these hotel drug binges before with Cali Dewitt and other friends spending her time getting high and racking up huge hotel bills. This has been documented before. I think that nothing was going to ruin Her time leading up to the release of Her big album. CL says she was at the Peninsula hotel while Kurt was at Exodus rehab so that she can go through detox from pills, but the fact is that she spent her time at the hotel surrounded by other known junkies at the time like Jennifer Finch and Linda Perry.

      1) What CL did was "gaslighting". It IS common, it IS done by people with a personality disorder ranging from NPD, BPD, sociopath, psychopath. ( Cluster B personality disorders ).
The term "gaslighting" comes from a old movie where a man who wants this woman's MONEY, flickers the lights, moves furniture around, & when she comments on it, he acts like she must be crazy to think these things are happening, until SHE KILLS HERSELF.
Ironic. But people DO this to people, it's very crazy-making & destablizing. ESPECIALLY if the person can isolate the one they are gaslighting, which they do. CL had all his addict friends gang up on him for an intervention. What happened in Rome? No one knows ....or will say. Why is Rosemary, their friend & attorney, afraid? She said there were papers practicing handwriting copying Kurts in a bag CL left with her, but freaked out when she found out the convo was being recorded.
      2) Dylan was an addict, it's unlikely but can't be ruled out that he knew/did anything.
      3) The pd NEVER says the cause of death the same day.....NEVER EVER. He was cremated before proper toxicology could be done. It waa botched in every way possible. " he had 3 kinds of lethal heroin in his system"
....this was the statement released. It's the most ignorant thing that could be said. Heroin in & of itself isn't lethal to someone with a tolerance. "3x the amount it would take to kill someone"...can't say that either. Not without knowing his EXACT tolerance at that moment.
And people DO kill for money, drive their spouse to suicide for money, power, & fame.
CL is definitely a psychopath. I think she's killed/had killed more than one person.
      4) When I heard the Nanny saying how she was so stressed & worried on the flight back to Seattle, after getting the news about Kurt, & CL was SLEEPING during the plane ride, I knew she had something to do with it.
FOLLOW THE MONEY....IT NEVER LIES! They fought about money, he was embarrassed by flashy cars, etc & he made her take a Lexus back.
She knew him for years before he was famous & pursued him relentlessly when he fiirst got famous. Got pregnant with his baby.
It's so old & tired if you study case studies of people like CL.
She wasn't that smart, she was pretty damn sloppy, she TOLD the cops it was suicide, so they reported it that way. SO many lies, inconsistencies, & MOTIVE X3 MEANS .....a blind monkey could figured it out. But not local Cops.

David Jefferson She said Kurts death would be good timing for the release of her new album. She was bragging about getting more money than Kurt (probably not true) even so, it shows how competitive she was. She clsimed she wrote Nirvana songs.
      GOLDEN RULE.....follow the money.
The record company & CL benefited the most. A DEAD MUSICIAN IS WORTH MUCH MORE DEAD THAN ALIVE ...the 27 Club!

    • @djefferson5669
      @djefferson5669 6 лет назад +8

On the subject of "following the money.." I'll point out the fact that years following Kurt's death, CL had extensive work done on the house, including the destruction of the greenhouse, all which was contracted to Gary Dewitt, Michael Cali Dewitt's father. I have read the the house is almost unrecognizable inside from all the reconstruction. Gary Dewitt is also mentioned in the police reports after contacting investigators himself which he has admitted to during a Tom Grant radio interview were Gary Dewitt called in, in an attempt to debunk TG.

When Tom asked Dylan what was above the garage Dylan’s response was something like “there nothing up there but some old fire wood that they store up there” pretty shady Situation that nobody even Cali or Jessica hopper could find Kurt when he was lying dead in the room above garage for days. Cali and Jessica hopper both left the house abruptly one day before the body was found. This whole this is a shit show. Not sure who to believe but my intuition has been telling me for years something is not right and I’m pretty sure Courtney had him murdered and that it was Cali who was involved. That is why Cali won’t clear his name bc he’s guilty as sin.

I'll try to make a little reverse engineering here: if Kurt Cobain's death was a simple factual thing like 2 plus 2 equals 4, one where no one was to blame for, i think we would know it by now. But no one has came to the front and offered a logical explanation for all the weird facts (and manipulation and lies) that happaned in Kurt's death.Cali's silence makes a lot of noise in this story. Courtney Love has a place in this story too for sure from what i saw in Soaked in Bleach. Appreciate the reasonable thoughtful and honest quality of your videos.
I as many others saw Nirvanamania taking off in Lisbon, Portugal probably in October or November 1991. Peace :)

I feel the same way as you describe. I know that cortney in a famous interview also described that they had cornered Kurt with an intervention before rehab that he took very hard because family members and friends did that and he was furious and refused to talk to them but agreed to go to rehab which he then left after just some days and disappeared back to Seattle. And that timeframe until when they found his body is mysterious.
So I am leaning towards maybe he felt so abandoned and betrayed by his nearest and in combination with a lot of things, like quitting drugs and pressure he killed himself.
But “Soaked in bleach” raises many unanswered questions about especially Cortneys behavior and manipulation over things that could lean towards that he might have been murdered.
I hope for Kurt that the truth could be told so he can RIP!

Marcus. As much as I still struggle with such a great person getting to that point of no return, In my gut I think his life due to drugs was utter chaos at that time. I would love to think all these unfinished problems are angled toward his death, I sadly think they arent. Alot of these people involved were on some pretty illegal drugs, stuff which gets you alot of attention from police. I just get the feeling everyone was on take or trying to cover up their unusual behaviours and possiblr addictions, not to mention Courtney and Kurt probably had alot of cash. Sadly, I think all this stuff about Courtney, is just her trying to strengthen her position, she is a narcissist and just want more and more attention, wealth and notoriety, thats why she latched onto him in the first palce.

Thank you for mentioning the placemat. I forgot about the IHOP from the recording. I couldn't understand if she actually said "I was at the IHOP". Dewitt's art exhibits confess so much (stargazer lilies/ bullet holes/ open coffins) The male nanny (Dewitt) was around the house/knew the place very well. Dewitt is a practicing satanist, and sorry but so is Dylan. Earth was the first band name used by Black Sabbath. Uh, murder is par ritual for these folks. Its a death party that happened. Kurt trusted some very sick and malicious twisted people / who weren't going to just leave him alone and accept rejection from him. Kurts music is divorce music if you really listen to his 93/94 stuff: "And I love her". Creepy and chilling. I can tell you Kirsten was murdered. If you look into her death, her diary pages were ripped out when her moving truck was fully loaded and ready to leave seattle. No one will arrest Courtney because people know she knows mafia type/ satanic filth who willl murder for money. The occult underground who will take blood money. How did the medical examiner conveniently fall to his death while parachuting in 2002? And another officer (Terry) conveniently die before reporting things on the Cobain case? Scum knows scum. Its so sad Kurt trusted lowlife pieces of garbage and married a succubus.

Eric is always low key making fun of Kurt’s memory on IG, he’s trash and Rene was always on the Cobain residence, and is Cali’s best friend! Courtney was in constant contact with both Cali and Rene on the days after Kurt left exodus. Cali definitely didn’t act alone.

Damn straight. Fully agree. Cali owes it to Kurt’s memory. If for some reason it wasn’t a suicide it would change so many opinions on Kurt and I believe he would want that. Especially concerning the recorded instances of people offing them selves relating to Kurt’s “supposed” suicide. My gut feeling is he probably wouldn’t like the way he’s been portrayed. It’s just not right not to hear from Cali and at least have experts take a look at any remaining evidence

  • @leopardprints

Before I saw this documentary- I didn't have much interest in the case as I was neither a Kurt or Courtney fan (I was 12 when Kurt died, so I kind of missed the Nirvana era). And I felt that the accusations against Courtney were misogynistic (accusing her of causing Kurt's suicide), and that those claiming that Kurt was murdered were fans who couldn't accept that their hero had left them. Over the years, I actually began to think of Courtney as a feminist hero- that people vilified her because she was a strong and outspoken woman. (I do still feel that she is harshly criticised for being a 'train wreck' compared to how male rock stars are treated)
Now, I think completely differently! I watched the documentary a few times because there's so much to take in. It is SO obvious that something dodgy happened. I could not believe how inept the police department was- they were likely prejudiced because they were 'grunge rock-star addicts' and just didn't bother to investigate properly. It had me convinced, because these are people who have nothing to gain from this (as in, they are not Nirvana fans) and what Tom Grant says makes a lot of sense. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be for Grant to have gone through all this.
Has Courtney ever explained the handwriting practice sheet? That piece of evidence is so obvious, it's almost comedic!
And reading it now, the suicide note doesn't even t read like someone who is preparing to kill themselves. It reads like he's quitting the band or quitting music. It's just a really strange way to write a suicide note! And the note just seems too light-hearted for someone who's planning to shoot himself in the head. And it seems to be written for his fans- not directed at his family, which is usually the case. It's so weird!
Check out Dylan Carlson's Tweet about Courtney. Wonder what he's alluding to? twitter.com/drcarlsonalbion/status/224439164349857792?lang=en
I also read an interview with Courtney's first husband. And he claimed that Courtney would often threaten him with 'If you don't do xyz, I'll have you beaten up for $200'. So she seems to have a history of threatening people, and just comes across as a scary person.
I now have no doubt that Kurt was murdered. The high heroin levels and the handwriting practice sheet and weird 'suicide note'- and also how Courtney behaved around the time of his death. I really wish they'd reopen the case!

In the Tom Grant book it says that Kurt's car (not the Volvo in the garage with tyres slashed) was found by Tom and Dylan outside Krist's house, in the days before the body was found. With a for sale sign on it, they have a photo. But then the car suddenly appears in the driveway the morning when the body is found, before the electrician arrives... weird? Krist had apparently told John Purkey on April 5th to not believe anything he hears, Kurt is fine...

As much as what you say makes sense , one hard lesson I learned over the years is that just because someone is your best friend doesn't mean they are loyal to the end no matter what...people change...they get jealous or hateful or arrogant and think they are above you...or a number of things you might never understand why...I had best friends for years...like over 10 years and one completely betrayed me. Others just disappeared when I was at my worst in a dark place. Of course I played a part too not a complete victim...but there was a time i thought id do anything for them and they for me. But in reality things turned out different.it was a painful learning experience but probably for the best. U shouldn't ever put complete trust into your friends no matter how close. As long ago as it was to this day whrn I think about it I'll shed a few tears. Family is what counts if ur lucky enough to have a loving one....my point is I guess just because Kurt was so close with a person doesn't mean drugs , money and other things can't change that person's loyalty....

The facts as I see them (interpret them as you will):
    * Kurt was a lifelong depressive, and was given medication early in life which probably damaged him physically and mentally.
    * Kurt & Courtney were junkies and so connected to shady criminal elements.
    * Courtney appears to be a sociopath and a liar, what we call a chancer round here.
    * Courtney was nowhere nearny when it happened.
    * Seattle PD conducted an extremely sloppy investigation.
    * There had been an incident in Rome.
    * They were probably going to divorce.
    * There was a baby involved.
I think Soaked in Bleach handwaves his depression, but his depression and drug addiction would be a perfect cover for an assassination.

As someone who wasn't even alive when Nirvana was at its peak and when Kurt died, I've had to the chance to look at this ordeal from a whole different perspective.
At this point, the idea that Kurt was suicidal and depressed is as accepted as the sky, it's almost the first thing that comes up when even discussing Nirvana, and with that strong cultural reinforcement from all sources highlighting that idea, it becomes almost difficult to not be skeptical of people saying "He totally didn't kill himself" and that was where I was at too.
What do you mean that wasn't suicide? The guy that's always shown screaming in pain and doing drugs wasn't suicidal? And what the hell does Courtney have to do with it?
Then you go look it up, and as I read the information gathered by Tom Grant, it just became harder and harder to deny that something was up. And like you said, Courtney literally admitting to lying and manipulating the press and clearly showing interest into making sure that the narrative reinforced the idea of Kurt's suicidal tendecy, it's just way too suspicious to not be questioned.
And also, there's the whole part about Police being incompetent and not caring in the slightest to do the actual investigation work and just going in and writing down suicide immediately to get the case shut as soon as possible.
It really doesn't add up and the worst part is how it seems like there's hardly gonna be anything done about it, it's been decades and the history books already have it open and shut, and until the evidence gets a spotlight and some people start talking, it'll always just be that. Because of the events on April 94' a child grew up without a father and the world moved on without one of the greatest artists of it's time. And that's frankly an injustice worth fighting.

Thats how I figured. I read about the IHOP thing, and I over looked it years ago, because I am English.... I didnt know what IHOP was/is. No one takes home a placemat from a crappy restaurant. In my imagination, I dont see a suicide letter, I see a retirement lett....yes I know its been pointed out. But I get, you would sit in a restaurant with your wife, or friends or whoever, and pen out a letter to Rolling Stone or whatever magazine, annocing you arent fussed anymore........No one writes a suicide note in pancake restaurant? wtf? Do they? When I was 16 and heard the news over my breakfast, I spent the rest of the year imagining him writing that note on his bed, with a pen and a pad, and spending time over it, while people looked for him. I belived the hype that he left Exodus and saw Duff on the plane, and went out and got food etc......The only other possibility is that yes, Courtney knew where that retirement letter was and made her move, or at least Cali did.

What I think is Kurt was at a ihop with Courtney an probably her friends and as they are their Kurt writes the note as a I quit the music industry then I believe Courtney or Kurt brought it home and Kurt probably stashed it with his journals and clearly it was a rough draft because it was on a ihop placemat then when the time camr when Kurt wanted out of the marriage for several reasons like Courtney sleeping around and ect she tried to kill him in Rome and that was a fail plus think about this observer if Kurt truly OD in Rome how come Courtney found him on the floor and called 911 but somewhere in that time frame she had time to apply her makeup and call the press and call Kurt’s label to let them know he OD or died I can’t remember what she said at the moment. If you woke up and found your spouse your calling 911 right away that’s it but she had something to do with that and it was her Roofies that she got in the UK before she met Kurt in Rome and Cali happened to be there as well and the time she woke up and found him changed several times as well and she waited to call 911 when she thought he was dead so when she thought he was dead she called but they actually was able to save him and now Courtney was working against time because there’s a chance over time Kurt may slowly get his memory back from what happened in Rome so she had to make sure he died soon because roofies make you lose memory but sometimes the memories can come back slowly so this time she made sure she was in California states away and that’s why Kurt had so much drugs in his system then the fatal shot to the head to make sure what happened in Rome don’t happen again where he was revived so she told the killer to make sure to use the gun but the killer clearly used to much drugs to where he actually didn’t need to use the gun but he did and that’s where he screws up because the dispense shell was on the wrong side of the body and also go look st the gun that 5’8 or 5’9 Kurt supposedly killed him self with. They released a few pics with a detective holding it a year or so ago an look at the gun and how long it was because there is no way that Kurt turned that gun on himself and pulled the trigger it’s not possible and back to the ihop placemat so when Courtney came up with the idea to kill him she went through his journals looking for something that look like a suicide note and also to copy his handwriting so she found that and started to practice his handwriting hence the practice sheet that was found in her backpack and she added the few lines on the note to make appear that it was a farewell but truly it was only a farewell to his fans not his family I truly know Kurt wouldn’t write a note like that because he was a sensitive man a loving caring father and very artistic he would of wrote a book to his daughter explaining why he was taking his own life not a few lines that say I love you I will be at your altar. no way not Kurt a lot has come out in past few years like the when the cops came to his house because he was saying he was going to kill himself while in a locked room lol she is a big time liar a cop came out saying that wasn’t true at all I sugges go to Tom Grants website and read up on all this and read his book I bought it and it’s a very good read it’s called the mysterious death of Kurt Cobain murder or suicide you decide. I know some people may call Tom names but I’ve followed this guy since late 90s early 2000s whenever that VH1 show came out about Celebrity deaths in one featured Kurt Cobain and that’s what I heard about Tom Grant and the possibility that Kurt was murdered because I always thought he killed himself because that’s what the media said so I believe that but this man Tom has not once ever change his side of the story never ask for money didn’t ask for the big time light to be on TV and ect..

Hey John, I’ve watched a lot of your videos and understand your history with Kurt and the incident that occurred with you prior to his death. No one ever seems to question where the hole is that he made with the pen, piercing it to hold it in place in the soil. I’ve checked every image of the note we’ve been provided and there is no sign of it, even being placed back together to be photocopied. Nothing. So where did Courtney get an un~pierced copy of the note from after his death?

I thought Geffen (a very dodgy guy, also connected to John Lennon) had someone following Kurt after the Rome thing. That could be why Kurt jumped the fence out of rehab too, suspecting he was being followed/ monitored etc (not just by control freak Courtney).
Rome could also have triggered an NDE/ further kundalini type thing with Kurt which is perhaps why he told someone he was feeling weird, tingling on his head etc after Rome.. although he was obviously born more K awake than most (hard on this planet).
Courtney's record also came out very soon after Kurt passed...

I strongly feel that the only way he would have turned against Kurt in the end is if he was threatened. Severely threatened. And that may have happened. Where was never a break up in friendship between Kurt and Dylan but i feel there was between Kurt and Courtney. It took only 2 years for Kurt to realize he made a mistake. Dylan looks seriously freaked out in Kurt and Courtney. I think he feared for his life. Just some thoughts

In court papers, stemming from Courtney and Sam Lufti trying to get Kurt's guitar from the MTV unplugged gig back from Frances ex husband Isiah Silva, it came out that Kurts mom told him that she doesnt think Kurt committed suicide anymore and that she felt manipulated by guy who did Montage of Heck. Here is the link to the PDF, the comments are on pages 33 and 34.

There is a pretty good video called "Kurt Cobain Murdered" it's 5.5 hours long. And the guy is very thorough.
Also, I think Dylan knows more than he's saying. He knows if he does, he's a dead man. I don't think he was involved. But I do think he knew, but couldn't stop it.

I agree. Dylan's interview in kurt and Courtney was super sketchy. He reacted to each question in a way that definitely looked like he was hiding something. He seemed like a bad liar in My opinion. I don't think he was involved directly but i think he knew what really happened and Courtney paid for his rent and heroin for years to keep him quiet. He looks like a man with a dark secret thats eatin him up for years imo

Hey man, I find it really awesome that you talk about stuff in the earlier days... your views and such. A lot has been said about Kurts death.. and yeah like many others I think it sucks that hes gone but I prefer to just listen to Nirvana's music and enjoy it rather than talk about his death all the time. I mean, I watched Soaked in Bleach and it was interesting but it didnt have much influence on my "opinion" on what might have happened. People still remember Kurt and Nirvana and personally I think that's what counts the most. Not saying that you shouldnt talk about his death.. you do whatever you do. Thank you for sharing all this stuff man.

The only way he fired that gun... is if his knees were drawn up towards his chest holding the gun, versus flat on the floor. That particular gun ejects the empty shell forward and to the right about 20 degrees off center. From my understanding he turned the gun upside down.... which would eject the shell past his right shoulder and behind him. It’s possible that if his legs were in the path of the spent shell, it could have deflected to his left side by striking the back of his right leg and bouncing off the ground and to his left side .

I always wanted to ask the Courtney question but, just didn’t know how. Having lost my dad at 9 and having to deal with it growing up I couldn’t imagine having that magnified times 10. So I sympathize with her over Kurt’s death. But, there’s a lot that makes me question. Reading the book heavier than heaven it talks about the times he died over a drug overdose only to be revived and placed on stage by Courtney... In fact that was the first chapter. The fact that Courtney was the one who provided that information made me wonder what really happened.

I disagree when you say “ I don’t think Dylan had anything to do with it” the facts are in the movie, Courtney told Dylan over the phone about the greenhouse and he didn’t, he says “ it’s just a dirty little room” when if you was so concerned about your best friend, you’d check every inch of the house. Also.. why did he have a pre interview with Courtney when he KNEW he was meeting Tom Grant later that day and then proceed to get fucked up on heroin.. Courtney, Dylan, Cali are all in on it

I dont know much about addiction, but if Dylan and Cali were using H, they were lickely hooked. I can see that if Dylan needed to meet Tom later in the day, the easiest thing to do to let Dylan be lazy or forgetful, or just it over with, is wave some H in his face, or give it him.

    • @sqlb3rn
      @sqlb3rn 6 лет назад

I looked up the gun, the barrel length is 26" and then the trigger is another 3" or so past that. I pulled out my measuring tape to 29", held it in my hand, and can easily fit the end under my chin. I'm 5'9" with a 69" reach. I have shot guns my entire life and never had one try to spin in my hand though, the recoil just doesn't work that way.

I don't think he was murdered, but I do think he was around a lot of toxic people at the time who were only looking out for their own interests, and he probably should have had a better support network with dealing with his personal struggles. There were all kinds of people pushing him to go on that long European tour when he didn't want to, forcing him to go to rehab when he didn't want to get clean and telling him he was going to lose his daughter, etc. I feel like he was in a fragile state of mind and felt pushed into a corner.
As for Courtney, I don't think she hired someone to kill him, but I do think she probably knew he had the potential to be suicidal, and either just didn't care, or actively pushed him to that point.

I think i read somewhere that earlier on, he put a lit cigarette out on his forehead and said, "is that good enough for you?" I can only imagine the anger and frustration he must have been feeling, with someone riding his back consistently. But from what i can tell, Kurt really did love Courtney alot! Isnt that how it goes alot in relationships? Poor guy. Makes me want to cry. Also makes me wonder to what length could her viciousness go? That's certainly not a healthy relationship at all.

Too much overkill-- overkill for death (too suicide methods-- is a backup death plan really necessary? Doesn't seem like the moment Kurt would have gone all TypeA). Plus too many notes. Including Courtney trying to get her lies on record to the private investigator. Bottom line: she practically admits she thought about setting up for his death. She is stupid. All that's missing is the Law & Order theme music after her stupid lies.

And so what I'm thinking is, is that if Leyland did have the same Gun that Kurt did, and Leyland had also said that he was sus on the fact that Kurt's death was noted as suicide, then I think that says a lot....

I rewatched “Soaked in bleach” yesterday and I still wanna know about the second note Kurt wrote. As I understand that was an continued part of the “suicide note”. If you assume that the last four lines not were written by Kurt, which I always have had a feeling they not were. I think this more was something Kurt wrote in two parts about his feelings towards the music industry and that he was going to divorce Cortney(written on that second note).
There are way too many unanswered questions about the whole thing. Man it’s bugging me year after year. I remember when the first movie came out 97-98? “Kurt & Cortney”.
