Remember, don't go over red lights if emergency vehicles are behind trying to pressure you. If you cause an accident or injured someone you can not use it as a defence. I know people want to help, but the poor road planning and lack of consultation with emergency services is not your problem. Don't use bus lanes or park in a yellow box, emergency vehicles are exempt so they need to find a way around obstructions. The ONLY time you are allowed to break the Law is if an officer in uniform stands in the road and takes control of directing traffic. You obey their signals and can cross a red light and be protected in law if that officers actions result in death or injury. You are not liable, they are. You will often see Special Escort Group standing in the road directing traffic. This is the only way to do it. You can not be prosecuted for obeying a traffic signal such as a red light or no entry sign.
I've seen a lot of people abuse those who don't go through red lights. Little do they know (or perhaps care) that it can cause more harm than good, plus it's illegal and the court won't let you off for it.
@1:45 "Supporting NHS and Fellow key workers" ... *Proceeds to keep driving and move over a lane to reduce the lanes available to the responding unit rather than holding short of the intersection until the cop passes*
To be fair, if he sat still then the traffic wouldn't have been able to move into the lane behind him. He actually did the copper a favour by moving forward, and didn't at all get in the way by proceeding through the junction.
The rumbler, is a bassier version of the yelp, and wail sirens. So car drivers can feel it, even if they cannot hear it. ruclips.net/video/IQe96hYVDIE/видео.html
Is it just me, or is the siren fit on most police cars nowadays useless? I can pick up fire appliances, and ambulances from miles away, but police have to be almost on top of you.
The light setup and flash pattern on that Volvo is perfect, incredible visibility
Some fleets managers seem to be catching on!

Fantastic Sirens - It is sooo lovely to hear a traditional British siren! 💝 how is a British siren different of an American siren?
