when I was working as a consultant I attended a Liturgy of the Pre-Sanctified at a tiny Orthodox church in Hawaii: they had no choir only a reader and a couple congregants, but it was still a beautiful experience. Members of the team were astonished I attended Liturgy instead of going to dinner with them, but they were all on their smart phones, whereas here the small congregation actually paid attention to what was happening.
