Commenting on Michel's singing. Remember, that's what he does. It's all part & parcel with his great compositions, extraordinary piano skills and being able to bring his works to life, especially when he shares the stage with another maestro like Phil. Just enjoy the work of 2 artists complementing each other.

Mr. Legrand messed up the proceedings the moment he started vocalesseing at 3:18. His awesome piano-playing needs no adding to, so why the superfluous overkill by trying to mimic Phil's horn? To each his/her own, he should've stuck with the piano and dropped all that Yabba-dabba-doo Scoobie-doo-bee-doo shit which is only typically gone to (and resorted to) by much much lesser musicians.

Yep I tend to agree with Zeit Geist. Too much colour all round. Messy. Great playing but smothered.
