Really inspiring to see that community service is not dead. Good on you for having pride in your community and taking the time to use your skills to make it a better place to live. These small sacrifices add up, and I hope your good deed comes back to you tenfold! Thanks for the video.
I appreciate your posting these videos & public service such as this & painting military Vets house. You're a great inspiration & knowledgeable person Thanks from all of us!
There was a product I purchased several years ago for graffiti and it was a compound called duck wax. You could apply it to any surface and just like the karate kid you wax on and wax off and the graffiti is gone. It was perfect for cars that got tagged with graffiti. Great video Chris, keep sharing the knowledge!
I'm from New York City, griffiti capital of the world, the owners paint over and clean graffiti but the best solution is a good beating to the artist .
True...but some of the graffiti in NYC is absolutely amazing. How in the hell does someone paint a mural on the side of a bridge with no scaffold or anything? 🧱🤨
What type of paint did you use? For example brand/paint type? When it comes to scraping what type of tool did you use to scrape paint? When it comes to primer is it necessary to use the spray primer or can you just paint over it if bricks if no cracking paint? Last but not least how do you do paint match? Thank you
Chris when I paint dumpster enclosures I always carry a drop cloth, because I say to my self the Idaho Painter would not drip all this paint even though its behind dumpsters. Today you have proved me wrong. (QUESTION) What if its a new dumpster enclosure and you are the first one to ever paint the walls inside a dumpster enclosure would you then carry a drop cloth ? I really enjoy all your videos. I started my RUclips channel from inspiration from you Chris. I have learned a lot from you I don't agree with every tool you use but I do agree with everything you teach. Lol. Keep up the great videos Chris.
graffiti is good as long as it doesn't vandalise cars or privately owned property, if its a big wall that no one owns its fine i like to see some graffiti it brings life to a place, the colours are great and sometimes writers can express themselves
If everyone and i mean everyone in the world spent a weekend doing work to remove the graffiti and tidy their own communities how beautiful would this world be
It's passive wimps that do nothing and look away - that's how you get the people that do graffiti in the first place you can't have them live around you beautiful areas can't exist with house pimps and welfare pushing leftists you end up with shitholes sorry to be crude just my take
My question is - due to the wimps at the library that now 'owns' our school in front of where I live that was just graffiti'd - I would like to just Kilz II primer over it for now since as you said leaving it up just invites more but would that thwart future removal methods ? like is it worse to have more paints involved ?
Very true: there is a reason why you prime and reason why you paint. You can’t put them together and get same result. (No such thing as self priming paint)
What type of paint would u use for a smokers house with some stains on the walls an ceiling. Looking to paint all flat white, but don’t know the right paint, oil, water, Shellac ? HeLP!
Words can not express how important it is to get rid of graffiti as soon as it is tagged! If you DON'T you will get tagged again again. These vandals only tag where they now it will last for awhile so by getting rid of it by painting over it or better yet removing it sends a message graffiti here will not be seen.

I'm just your average citizen and tired of seeing the increase of graffiti in my community. I was thinking of painting over all the graffiti but I don't have paint or supplies. I will start purchasing these items but is it ever worth it to contact painters to see if they have anything (unused paint, primer, rollers, brushes, etc.) they aren't using that they could donate to someone like me?
if a hypothetical person were to tape a big piece of cardboard to a wall and only graffiti the cardboard then remove said cardboard and keep that as art, would that still be considered illegal? asking for a hypothetical friend
I think we need to stop calling graffiti unsightly it's somebody's art just because it's where you don't want it doesn't change that if anything we should be inspiring artists to do this type of work in areas where it is allowed I live in Maine and in Portland Maine there is a graffiti wall an area where you are more than welcome to paint and in that area there's almost no graffiti anywhere else comparatively speaking I definitely wouldn't encourage anyone to paint on private property but at the same time as a graffiti artist myself it's sad to see people say that it's nothing more than destructive and unsightly also I love how he calls it ugly and then proceeds to painted the ugliest color I've ever seen😂

Could care less what was written. Call the police on THOSE that ARE vandalizing property with unsightly graffiti! Life is shitty buttercup. You can CHOOSE to contribute to keeping it shitty or choose to do something to rise above it. Don't be so weak minded.

Great way to use up old paints too!
Yes indeed!
Chris ....
Seattle has been destroyed in the riots and downtown is covered in graffiti. I think a removal team would have a few years of work.
Agreed
Great idea of ways to keep our communities beautiful!

Painters Care
Yup we just try to make people happy.
How much do you normally charge for that per square feet?
Did you out a clear anti graffiti over the top ? Just thinking it may help with the spot if it’s frequently getting tagged
Great idea
How would one go about making this a service to help the community and businesses?
Contact your local city
Thank you for everything your doing
Be sure to take a picture and send it to your local police department before getting rid of it. ❤
Why would you go out of your way to destroy a kinds life for painting something stupid on a wall no one even cares about? (not saying I approve)
