Not to be a contrarian, but I think I'd rather see the basic banner have an older guaranteed 5 star (say 2+ years old). My argument for this is that it would open up more units on the list, which creates a greater opportunity to hit older SA units. It also gains value as the game goes on and SA units start hitting that 2 year marker. Hope that made sense. Kinda scatterbrained today 😅
These Banners would be fine if WFS would be giving us a Chance to farm All Cosmos Star Charts in some way, but i don't think this is gonna happen for now or the near Future. I hope one day at least with new exp system for these SA characters because these Phase Shift Crystals and their amplifiers are not it.
Some SA characters need their SA skill to work but there are some who their base kit is good enough without SA. Also, I don't think it is mandatory to SA characters for superbosses. I mean superbosses are all optional and there are a lot of different strategies for each one which does not use SA characters.
My 5* was a Yakumo dupe, which in hindsight was a nice bump
