    Nissan would be out of the their minds if they stop offering the Versa. Lots of people are not willing to spend more than $20k for a new car! Or they can't afford it. I doubt they stop selling it. I hope I'm right. I'll probably get one as a first car for my daughter. Still thinking about it

    Just got a GSP 23 SR like 2 months ago, amazing mpg, drives really well, not intrusive at highway speeds, good Continental tires stock. It’s everything I asked for after getting Destoyed on gas with my Nissan Frontier the past few years. I would expect the CVT to last a very long time, they have been refining it for years now.

    I can’t find any competitors who offer as many extras in a low budget car then the versa and Sentra. The options you get for the price is damn good. Now will the dealers bend people over or not is the question.

    My only complaint as an owner are the rear censors.. when parallel parking, the car will make a loud noise and disable the throttle when coming only kind of close to the car behind you. You can only disable the beeping. As I live in the city, this is the absolute worst. It makes it incapable of parallel parking in tight spaces. Not the choice if you parallel park every day. Great gas mileage though

    • @scottdean27
      @scottdean27 7 месяцев назад

      How close can you get to the car behind it before the throttle cuts out? I too have to do parallel parking frequently and I can squeeze a car into spaces others have to pass on, so this info is really important to me. Thanks.

      @@scottdean27 having trouble finding the exact distance. It is called rear automatic braking. They might be a way to ask the dealership to turn it off but Im not sure. But its about a little more than the distance needed to walk between two cars. Maybe btwn 1 ft to 2ft.

      Thanks for answering my question. I appreciate it. Just one last question. As a fellow stick shift driver, I see the Versa 5-speed manual doesn’t come with the 60/40 fold down rear seat. Bummer. Does the back seat fold down as one piece, or is it fixed in place and not fold down at all? Thanks again.

    This was a good review, but please show under the trunk floor so we know if there is a compact spare tire or just a can of crappy Fix A Flat tire goo. Also, you should check the tire pressure. I sure hope it wasn’t 47 psi as that could be really way too high. I could see it getting elevated if it was a super hot day and the car was out in the sunshine all day, but it sure looked like an overcast and mild temperature day.
