It's Time To Choose Who You Will Serve

IT’S TIME TO CHOOSE WHO YOU WILL SERVE

Text: Joshua 24:13-15
Theme: Family leaders must decide the direction of your home.
God has frequently used leadership to deliver and to guide His people. So God has chosen parents and adult guardians to lead families and children into His service.
In chapter 24 he reminds the children of Israel about what all God has done for them.
Taking them across the Euphrates (24:3)
Taking them across the Red Sea (24:5-7)
Taking them across Jordon (24:8)
I. Your decision to serve the Lord is a response to His goodness (vv. 13-15)
This decision was for service!
II. Your decision to serve the Lord is a decision that must be made & it isn’t a simple decision (vv. 15-21)
Keys to change
You have to put away or forsake the present god you are serving (v. 23)
You must draw nigh to God with your heart (v. 23; Josh 22:5; Matt 15:8)
You should establish a reminder for you and your family (v. 26)
