just a small note, 13x38mm is actually just the metric "cartridge" dimensions of a half length dart. 13mm wide, 38mm long. The 13 round magazine is just a coincidence :) Also, as far as the trigger goes, it's not really a choice of "slam fire or deprime," thats purely down to the mechanism. The turnaround style breech simply doesnt allow depriming to be done because the catch reciprocates with the bolt, and isn't in contact with the trigger surface when the bolt is at the rear. This "floating catch" design is essential to the function of the turnaround system, but is the most compact springer mech, so you're trading the inability to deprime for a smaller overall blaster silhouette, which makes a blaster as small as the zinc possible in the first place. Slam fire is just a bonus of the design.
Ah, that makes more sense. Didn't really associate cartridge and dart in my mind since they don't use them. Do you happen to know of any blasters with slamfire and the ability to deprime?
@@BradleyPhillipsYTDon't quote me on this, but i believe most direct plunger blasters that have slam fire, like i believe there is a variant of the caliburn or talonclaw that gives it slam fire, and those can still de-prime. A lot of first party blasters with slam fire tend to have locks that prevent de-priming, but naturally those can be removed. As far as i know, only turnaround blasters by default have to sacrifice the ability to de-prime by the nature of their mechanism, and i don't think any direct plunger blasters are similarly incapable of de-priming if they have slam fire.
Your blaster reviews are the best. I always appreciate how in depth your accuracy tests are. You're also the only youtuber I watch that actually has decent gameplay footage. I can't wait until you review the Worker Harrier. My favorite videos of yours are the ones where you smoke gel ball peasants with high powered nerf springers.
I love were this hobby is going, many are focused on proformance in the most compact way. Apart from the worker cheetah, to get anywhere close to 200 with a reasonable prime, just isn't really available. Unless I missed it, how did the frame handle the heavier spring?
My advice if you're OK with building and printing this blaster, but think it's hitting a little hot or the prime's too heavy is to get a K31 from Out of Darts and install that instead of this blaster's included K25.
Especially for the price, if you're trying to hit lower FPS then sticking with the standard length zinc and bumping its performance with a bigger spring is a better use for the money.
Nick vid Bradley. I passed by your channel again cause i just saw Out of Darts just reviewed the Worker Harrier. Have you planned to check that springer? He has great vids too, nevertheless he does not emphasize much in performance, like you do in your videos
@@Ripolada My frd I don't think its possible. I ordered 2 s200s viper and both of them got seized by WA customs. Considering that the zinc 2.0 is even more real steel looking than the viper, I wouldn't advise shipping it to NSW. I contacted the zinc2.0 and ziiiinc seller and they both had the same conclusion. Hope this helps.
Great review as always, I was keen to get it as my intro to nerf till I saw the price tag yikes! ☹️ Looks like I’ll be sticking to gel ball but looks like a very effective piece of kit to use for gameplay 💯
Vaguely working on that concept. Will probably be my next major mod. I'm working on a way to keep it a pistol when wanted with a removable stock and pump unit hanging off the picatinny rail with a way to attach it to the slide.
Modded Viper shoots a little lower fps than the Ziiiinc and struggles to shoot 38mm darts where the Zinc takes them fine. I think it's more a choice of looks or material.

Good stuff. May this be the beginning of many more zincs to come!

I like how the darts sounded like actual artillery in slow motion
You definitely hear them whistle past you in real life too

catching that frag at the end was great man!
The mag release is ambidextrous. You just need to print the parts for a left handed user. These files can be found online
This is true, just need to print the left version of the trigger guard and release.
@@MisplacedMoose yep I own one myself and it’s quite easy to replace the guard and release
One of the benefits of 3D printed blasters is the customisation options
I like how it has the same type of name as the Lonx (extended Lynx)
amazing video again, thank you Bradley Phillips
We've seen people throw grenades back, but catching one, too? That's skill!

Apart from the worker cheetah, to get anywhere close to 200 with a reasonable prime, just isn't really available.
Unless I missed it, how did the frame handle the heavier spring?
The frame 100% filled solid plastic. There's no flex or creaking or the usual things you'd expect from an injection molded blaster.
12:35 Casually catch and fling back a grenade, that's some dexterity
Left handed too
great review as always. Super duper Ziiiinck.
The Nerf Hand cannon we deserved.

If anything people will probably try to tweak these to shoot even harder to be honest
Question, is this overkill for doing Senior assassination at my high school? If so should I get the 150 fps version?

Yeah I have one on the way from Zhenduo. Looks like it'll be a good blaster!
Have you check out the Sweetheart storm FB1? Looks good to me.
It does look good, will see if I can get one
Will you be doing a review on the worker harrier/Gameface trion?
Yes to both
@@BradleyPhillipsYT Wicked
Hi Bradley, how did you manage to purchase one in Australia? I went to the site but I don't see any options to ship to Western Australia.
I’m also interested in getting one in NSW, how would you do that?

I've just more inventory

MOOSE YOU MADE IT!!!!
I made it a long time ago
It's just time people notice
@@MisplacedMoose true true
12:36 nice catch Bradley
Why does this look like an re-45 from titanfall 2?
Where do you get these from
What is the fps of the zinc 2.0 from the website
Mostly standard Zinc 2.0 with the printed scar and plunger mods can hit around 190s with the included hardware.
Great review as always, I was keen to get it as my intro to nerf till I saw the price tag yikes! ☹️ Looks like I’ll be sticking to gel ball but looks like a very effective piece of kit to use for gameplay 💯
There cheaper stuffs out there that have just as good performance. I recommend you to check out the gameface trion
@@randomuser-mv7bb thanks mate will do 👍🏼
mag spring is to the left of the target lol
Now that I watch the footage back I think I can see where it went. Though I'm not sure how I'll go reassembling that mag.
@@BradleyPhillipsYT RIP ziiinc mag
Hey, sorry the zinc we sent you was seized by customs. Was this one shipped to you partially disassembled or anything?
This one was shipped in two packages separated into slide and lower
just imagine that as a carbine pump action and folding stock
At that point you could just get a Talonclaw or similar though
@@BradleyPhillipsYT still it would be cool blaster

220? Dang thats what my tc gets I need to make me one of these
S200 Viper vs Zinc next?

Can zinc use worker mags?
No

I just got my kit!

i love this pistol i want one 😫🙏♥️
How hard is it to reload?
It's no different than loading any other half dart magazine. The flared magwell makes it a little easier.
This ^
@@MisplacedMoose I mean like how hard is it to pull back the slider
@@Yfutfutkvutc About like the last 3 inches of a caliburn pull. It's not THAT bad.
@@MisplacedMoose i have a dart zone max striker. Compared to that, what is the force like?
I’m 13, could I prime this?
You might struggle without using a weaker spring in it
If you're a 13 year old keyboard warrior like my kid, answer is no.
Nice
