Driving in Portugal: Autoestrada A11 from Apúlia to Braga

  • In this video you can ride along on Autoestrada A11 from Apúlia to Braga in the North of Portugal. The A11 is an 80-kilometer long highway that connects the coastal A28 to the A7 more inland. Braga is the main city on the route.
    The highway was built in phases starting from the late 1990's, ultimately finishing the last stretch in 2006. In this video we don't completely continue to Braga, exiting onto the A3 a short distance before reaching the city. However, in a future video on the channel you can ride along into the city of Braga.

    5:55 nice view after driving up the hill, but personally I think that such slow traffic lanes on the right are dangerous even when the traffic intensity is only 15,000 ADT
