I agree. I only rank Rod Stewart's show above his. What soul ... I've seen a few concerts each year since I "grew up" and could buy my own ticket ~ approx. 100 at this point of age 61. I loved this concert more than all the others, including Bob Seger, Eagles, Vince Gills' Eagles, James Taylor (3 times), all the biggest names out there during the last 40 years. I hope I get to see him again. Considering tickets to Montana ...
JJ gray and his band have always been the real deal. Good Ole southern boy, that never lost his values or forgot where he came from. When you sing from the heart it can't help but show. Listen to his older stuff. Like jamming from the van. Great music.
We have seen him once, in Napa. I immediately tried unsuccessfully to find a promoter to bring him to Bakersfield. We'll travel to see him again. As others have said, one of the best live performances we've ever witnessed.

There has been many many great live performances over the decades., the list is long with big star Names . Buffalo River, older family shut down because of the money of corporations.
