Tanya Stephens is a Jamaican Reggae singer and Deejay. The 50 year old artist started to gain recognition back in the late 90's. She is most known for her hits " Yuh nuh ready fi dis yet" produced by Dave Kelly, which brought her much recognition within the Jamaican culture. She had further success with singles such as "its a pity" for which Tanya achieved international recognition, " Freaky type", "cry bawl" and "draw mi finga".
Tanya Stephens started recording music in the mid 1990's for producers such as Dave kelly and Philip "Fatis" Burrell. and has released multiple albums, one of which was number one for more than 4 weeks in the Caribbean " Tempo" music charts. the album was totally sold out in Jamaica and other parts of other Caribbean.
