I alway wanted to hear this things K5LA. It was out here on the MBTA as a lease unit. However it never ran due to air brake issues. Then the horn disappeared. It left the T with a K5LA off a broken GP40MC.
Original DC pool for Champion/Floridian (300-309) then on to Albany/New Haven after the Champion and Floridian were discontinued. 300s left the 48/49 pool in the winter of 80/1 after 337-352 were assigned.

Interesting - 302 sure made its rounds.

I searched on Flickr and wouldn't you know it, there it is - a shot of the Floridian 10-1979 with 302 leading.
